Disclaimer: This is a completely subjective review that is based on my experiences with different fitness apps. I’ve used multiple different exercise tracking apps across many years. I started by logging my workouts in the notes app and then Excel when I was fairly new to exercising consistently. Later on I started using dedicated apps like Fitbod, Hevy, and Strong. What I noticed throughout my experience with these formats of logging workouts is that they each had different features that I liked and found beneficial. Excel allowed me to use formulas to pull data from one sheet to the next and make seamless progression trackers for anything (set, weight, reps, body weight, progressive overload, etc.) and Strong allowed me to do the same functions but blocked making more than a certain amount of workouts with a paywall. Lastly, Hevy brought in a social camaraderie aspect that allowed me to see what other people in the network were doing. The reason I find FitCypher to be so great is that all of the functions are so simple to use, none of the options have barred access, the social aspect is there (still developing as the app grows), the ability to schedule your lifts via the programs option makes maintaining consistency much easier, and tracking your progress in order to not lose sight of where you started is very motivational. FitCypher is a 10 for me. It has solved any issue I have had with fitness apps in the past. Excited to see the future developments of FitCypher.
Love this app!

I’ve tried a lot of fitness apps over the years, and FitCypher stands out because it doesn’t try to do too much, it just does the important things really well. The interface is clean and intuitive, so logging workouts doesn’t interrupt your flow. The progress tracking is straightforward and actually motivating because you can clearly see improvements over time. What really surprised me is the AI workout feature, it’s incredibly useful when you want a solid workout without overthinking it. You can give it a simple prompt and get something that fits your goal right away.It feels like this app was built by people who actually work out!

Love keeping track of my progress

I’ve been using notes or just remembering weight progress in my head, but love how this app keeps track of my progress automatically and love how I don’t have to scroll through notes and look for old exercises to find progress. Super convenient and intuitive to use, and just an overall great product.

New ways to customize and share your training.
You can now quickly swap exercises in your workouts, making it easier to adjust your plan on the fly without rebuilding everything.
We also added social workout sharing. After finishing a workout, you can generate a clean workout summary overlay and share your session to Instagram, Snapchat, or wherever you post.
Minor polishes and improvements were also added to make tracking feel smoother.
