Pick a player: a wheel over your roster, in the team menu. Spin it to settle who pays the round or fetches the balls. Absent teammates can be left out first. Votes for me: every vote you ever received, game by game, from the side menu. Polls can now close themselves at a time you pick, and show how long is left. Poll options show the voters as a stack of faces. Tap it to see the full list. Season rankings show who climbed and who slipped since the last game. Confetti and a buzz when you open the results as the winner of a category. Managing a vote is now one row of icons, and your ballot is a big button in the corner. The vote screens load faster.

What's new • Vote straight from the votes screen. While the vote is open, your own ballot is one tap away: cast it, or check it once it's in. • Results you forgot to submit are no longer lost. If you closed the vote and left before sharing the results, the app now brings you back to them, and warns you before you walk away from results nobody else can see yet. • A photo or a drawing now counts as a justification. Categories that ask for one no longer block your vote when you attached a picture instead of a message.

Read the vote category by category The reveal no longer belongs to one person. Pick "By category" in your vote settings and each category goes to its own reader, in turn. Whoever is not reading sees whose turn it is, and the person counting the points follows the standings live while the room listens. Some categories are better left unsaid. Turn off "Read out loud" and the category is still voted on and still scores, it simply never gets read to the group. Polls answer in one tap - The full question sits at the top, however long it is - Tap an option and it is sent, tap it again to take it back - Every option shows who picked it, faces and names - One nudge for everyone who has not answered yet A closing time for the vote Sessions can close on their own. The team decides how long a session stays open, the hub counts down, and a vote manager can push the deadline back or drop it in a couple of taps. Somebody missing? Take them out of the vote. Nothing of theirs is counted, nothing is read out, and they get no reminders. Justifications now run to 2000 characters. Also: button wording rewritten in all three languages, and the vote screens refresh properly once the results are in.

Your vote stays put. Saving a draft without having picked a player no longer wipes what you had already filled in. Come back later, everything is still there.

Treasury, rebuilt around the person The money screens now follow people, not charges. Everyone on the squad has one balance: red when they owe the team, green when the team owes them (which is what happens when whoever carries the team card fronts a round). Recording a payment means picking a name and typing an amount, no hunting for the right charge. Open a member to see everything they were charged and everything they paid, side by side. Nobody misses the last vote anymore The end of a reading used to slide past in a notice while you were still on the previous card. It now stops you properly. Fixes - Players who left the team show up again in old ballots and in the stats pickers, instead of reading as "Unknown player".

Shirt numbers Give everyone a number in the roster. It shows next to their name, on the lineup and in the player pool, so typing 15 finds your player. Two players wearing the same number get an amber heads-up, not a refusal. Real names on the team sheet The lineup now shows real names and shirt numbers instead of team nicknames. A team sheet leaves the changing room, so it should be readable by people who were not in it. Share a game, a training or a poll A share button on games, trainings and polls. Send the link, it opens straight on the right screen in the app. Also: adding a player to the lineup now ticks the row before it leaves the list, so you can see the tap landed. And there is a fourth theme in the appearance settings. We are not saying which. Nobody lasts a week.

THE GAME SCREEN IS NOW A HUB Everything about a game in one place: kickoff time, ground, address, meeting time, lineup. Before the game it tells you when the vote opens. During the game you can record a goal without leaving the screen. At the final whistle the vote is one tap away, and live games are flagged so nobody misses one. FIXTURES WITHOUT THE TYPING Managers can import a full season from the federation in one go, and grounds are now picked from a list instead of typed by hand on both game forms. TEAM SCREENS, TIDIED UP The team menu is split into Roster, Your Team and Stats. Both stats screens have been restyled to match the rest of the app, roles and permissions are no longer mixed up on the members screen, and the lineup is shared from a button that stays where your thumb is. CALENDAR Add your team's games to your phone calendar and let it keep itself up to date. FASTER The home screen now loads with a single request instead of nine. You will feel it on a cold open. FIXED The crash after entering your name on first sign-in. Join links on iOS no longer bounce you to web after the app opens. Membership errors are shown in your language.

Light mode has arrived, plus a long list of fixes that make the app faster, clearer and easier to live with. LIGHT AND DARK Avoté now follows your phone's appearance setting, and you can force light or dark from the menu. Every screen has been reworked so colours stay readable either way. SHARED LINKS OPEN IN THE APP Send a game, a team or an invite link in your club's WhatsApp group and it opens directly in Avoté instead of the browser. Joining a team from an invite link no longer means copying a code by hand. ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE Full VoiceOver support: labelled buttons, spoken standings and availability, and announcements when a screen finishes loading. Voting and reading the results can now be done without sight. FASTER AND LIGHTER The app downloads much smaller, starts quicker, and keeps profile pictures and team crests cached so lists no longer reload them on every scroll. WHEN THINGS GO WRONG Losing signal now shows a plain message instead of a technical error, screens that fail to load offer a retry button rather than looking empty, and requests no longer spin forever when the server is slow. Crash reporting has been added so we hear about problems without waiting for you to write in. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Missing Dutch and French wording has been completed, including sign-in errors and the subscription screens, which used to fall back to English.
