A new icon. Just Tides now wears its own tide clock on your home screen — the same water, the same blue, at thumbnail size. The old one belonged to a different app, really: a gradient and a glow we had long since stopped using anywhere else. Also in this release: • The Lock Screen widget is legible again • Panels that slide up over the screen now stand apart from it, so the station chart reads as a chart • Every button announces itself properly with VoiceOver • The thank-you after a tip says thank you, rather than a product id Tides still come from NOAA. Hola. Bonjour. Hello. Just Tides now speaks Spanish and French — the app, the widget, the Apple Watch app, and the complication too. PICK YOUR LOOK Light, dark, or whatever your iPhone is already doing. Dark mode is new here, and the whole palette was rebuilt to earn it. It's in Settings. BLUER WATER We spent a frankly unreasonable amount of time on this one blue. We think it was worth it. Tides still come from NOAA. See you at the water.
