Play Your Way Challenge the built-in Arasan chess engine across 13 strength levels, choose your side, set time controls, add increments, or start from a custom FEN or PGN position. Play With Friends Compete online with Game Center matchmaking and friend invites. You can also play together with SharePlay on compatible visionOS versions. Train With Puzzles Sharpen your calculation with rated puzzles across Best Moves, Tactics, Mates, and Random categories. Choose difficulty levels from Novice through Grandmaster, use hints when needed, skip ahead, reset a puzzle, or analyze the position after solving. Analyze Positions Open the board analysis mode to study positions, turn engine analysis on or off, review move lists, edit the board, export positions, or continue from a position as a new game. Track Your Progress Create a local player profile, customize your display name and picture, and review statistics for engine games, online games, and puzzles. Built For Spatial Play Drag pieces, tap squares, rotate or scale the board, recenter the board, open a 2D companion view, hear optional move narration, and export your games in standard chess formats.
