This release brings a major under-the-hood upgrade along with a handful of fixes to make ParentConnect faster and more reliable. Modernized foundation We upgraded ParentConnect to the latest mobile framework (Expo SDK 57) and enabled React Native's New Architecture. This modernizes the entire app from the ground up, delivering smoother screens, quicker startup, and a more stable experience across the board — plus a stronger foundation for the features we're building next. Fixes & improvements • Fixed your profile photo briefly flashing a default icon when switching between tabs — your avatar now stays put. • Fixed an issue that could prevent some members from liking or unliking posts. • Fixed analytics consent handling for certain accounts so your privacy preferences are always respected. • Faster, smoother browsing with fewer unnecessary reloads and improved performance throughout. • Tightened up security and privacy behind the scenes. • General polish, cleanup, and stability improvements.

What's new • Recurring events now show every date. Story times, weekly meetups, and multi-week programs list each date so you can see when they actually run. • RSVP to specific dates. For recurring events, each date has its own "Going" button — say yes to the dates you can actually make, not the whole series. • Cleaner event details. Date list aligns neatly, end times appear next to start times, and the action buttons are evenly spaced. • Behind the scenes: smarter event discovery so the daily AI-suggested events arrive with all their dates intact instead of one date buried in the description.
