Does what it says, without fanfare or money changing hands. No tricks. Also, I have an older iPhone which does not support all the modern AI-related extensions, and this runs flawlessly. I don’t know if I have them or Apple to thank, but thanks!

Poor quality

Scales the video, but has many artifacts that distorts the content enough that it isn’t worth the time or energy. The upgrade to this app is necessary to do anything > 2 minutes, which at first glance may make the basic behavior hard to evaluate if you have longer videos. I’m glad I resisted just paying the $10 until I trimmed an example.

Developer Response
Thank you for testing TrueFrame AI and for trimming a sample clip to evaluate the export quality. That is exactly why we designed the free 2-minute limit so creators can fully test the 4K, 120 FPS, and HDR pipeline locally before spending a dime.AI upscaling results heavily depend on the source video's original compression and lighting. We are constantly tuning our local Apple Silicon models to minimize artifacts, and we highly recommend adjusting the Reduce Noise and Motion Blur filters to find the best balance for your specific file. If you'd like to help us improve, please feel free to reach out to trueframeai@outlook.com with your video specs. We would love to optimize future updates for your use case!

This is really good but why every time it’s done it’s darker and there’s a green screen beside the video? How do I make it full screen? And brighter

Developer Response
Thank you for the feedback! The darker image can happen if the enhanced HDR/Dolby Vision video is played back on a non-HDR (SDR) display or a player without proper tone mapping. The green bar is usually related to pixel buffer alignment for specific video resolutions.I want to make sure this is fixed for your setup. Could you please drop me an email at trueframeai@outlook.com with your device model and video specs? This will help me isolate the issue for the next update. Thanks!
