OYU — Qazaq Ornaments
Kazakh ornament archive
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
OYU is an archive of Kazakh ornament.
451 drawings from Erlan Karin's book "OYU — Qazaq Design", digitised with the author's permission. Every ornament is the book's own vector curve — never redrawn, never traced by hand.
BROWSE
• Seven chapters: horn, animal and insect, plant, geometric, cosmogonic, human, weapon and household
• Search in four languages — Kazakh in Cyrillic and Latin, Russian, English
• Filter by chapter and by style: round or sharp, geometric, symmetric or asymmetric
KEEP
• Save any ornament to favourites and gather your own collections
• The app opens where you left it
EXPORT
• PNG or SVG, at the size you choose
• In black, in white, or in a colour you pick yourself
• Save to Photos, share it, or copy it straight into another app
Oyu collects nothing about you. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no network requests of its own. Everything it remembers stays on your device.
The ornaments are part of Kazakh cultural heritage. The drawings are reproduced from Erlan Karin's "OYU — Qazaq Design" with the author's permission.
