Dai is an AI language app that offers many languages and customizable settings. It uses scenario based AI conversations, after using for multiple days the AI learned where I needed help and then helped to make conversations more natural. Being to turn off hints can add more challenges once you get more experience.

This app is well worth the subscription! I’m a shy perfectionist, often freezing when required to speak, so speaking in a new language is extremely challenging for me. This app has been very good practice to build my confidence. I’ve tried to practice speaking with other LLM’s (GPT, Claude, Gemini) but struggled with their ability to keep a structure that allowed for sustainable practice. Dia has been a joy to use, solving for those issues. It has helpful features, giving me feedback on improving my sentence structures. I’m also enjoying the surprise images that appear! Thank you to the researchers (I learned about this app while doing a literature review and reading your paper 🙂)
