Housekeeping at 35,000 feet. No new bells, just a thorough clean so the app stays rock solid wherever you land.

SkyLocation 5.0 is the biggest update yet. GPS THAT ACTUALLY WORKS IN FLIGHT The old version gave up after about ten seconds — far too soon for a cold GPS start at 35,000 feet. It now listens patiently for up to 45 seconds, so fixes that were previously impossible mid-flight now succeed. If a fix still can't be found, the app explains why: satellites out of view, the aircraft's heading, or the dimmable windows on aircraft like the 787. A LOADING SCREEN THAT TALKS TO YOU Waiting for satellites now shows live guidance instead of a frozen screen — including where to hold your phone, and your accuracy tightening in real time as the fix improves. You can cancel any search. BUILT FOR iPAD Every screen has been laid out properly for iPad, not stretched. COMPLETE GERMAN The entire app is now fully translated, top to bottom. EXPLORE ANY PLACE ON EARTH Search any city offline and get its coordinates in four formats, plus distance, bearing, sunrise and sunset from where you are. SAFER HISTORY Your saved locations are now protected against accidental loss, and deleting them always asks first. Plus a redesigned Horizon compass, refreshed onboarding, and dozens of smaller fixes throughout.

SkyLocation now speaks German! The entire app, including onboarding, is available in German and switches automatically on German-language iPhones. You can also choose your language any time from the menu (System, English, or Deutsch). Also in this update: - Home screen layout refined to look great on every iPhone size - Localized country names, plus cleaner and more consistent wording throughout - Extra polish and stability improvements Know exactly where you are, even without internet.

Bug fixes and improvements: - More accurate country for locations near coastlines (some coastal and island cities were showing the wrong country). - A cleaner location card: the nearby city no longer repeats a city you are already in. Thanks to everyone who sent feedback.

Our biggest update yet. NEW DATABASE: 160,000+ cities and every country in the world, fully offline. Your location is now more accurate than ever, anywhere on Earth. NEW - EXACT PLACE (Pro): pinpoint exactly where you are, down to the village or suburb, not just the nearest city. Also improved: - A cleaner, faster location card - Better in-flight detection - Full city names everywhere - Many small refinements and fixes Thanks for using SkyLocation. Safe travels.

New in 3.4: • Smarter in-flight detection. Snapshots taken during the climb-out phase are now correctly classified as In-Flight, factoring in speed instead of altitude alone. • Location History: swipe left on a saved location to delete it, or to change its category between In-Flight, On Ground, and Unknown. • A new menu in the top-right corner brings together About, Rate, Share, Send Feedback, Restore Purchase, and Privacy Policy. • Flight Guide has been fully rewritten with three clear tabs (Setup, In-Flight, FAQ) and an expandable list of common questions. • My Other Apps: a new page showcasing other apps and websites I've shipped. • Small polish: refined typography, faster transitions, and bug fixes.

New in 3.3: • Introducing Horizon — a new Pro feature that shows you sunrise, sunset, golden hour, moon phase, and a live compass that always points to any place you've saved. All offline, all from your GPS. • Save beacons from your current location, by searching a city, picking from your Location History, or entering coordinates manually. • Pro screens redesigned — Pro View, Insights, and Horizon now share the same look and feel as the home screen. • Fixed a bug where the review prompt could appear on every detection. • Existing users now skip the onboarding when updating. • Sun position on the arc now accurately matches the real sky at all times. • Other small fixes and performance improvements.

New in 3.2: • Redesigned Share Card — cleaner, more premium layout with your city front and centre • New onboarding for first-time users • Fixed city name display for longer place names • Performance improvements and bug fixes

• Pro icon: purchase Pro and your app icon automatically upgrades on your home screen • For existing Pro users, the new icon activates automatically on first launch after updating — no action needed • Location History backup: export your history and restore it on any device via AirDrop — no cloud account needed • Your location data stays 100% private and offline, always • Fixed: Pro status no longer lost on restricted in-flight WiFi

• New Location History: auto‑save every detection, with smart filters, search, and detailed map views • Storage management tools to keep history tidy • Polished Liquid Glass visuals and smoother interactions across the app
