Fully obsessed and definitely upped my pin collecting/trading game!!!

I’ve been using the Pin Trading app for roughly 6 months, and to say it’s been amazing would be an understatement. I used to keep track of all my collections in my camera roll, and as a girl with a storage problem on my phone, that many pictures was definitely not helping me out! The Pin Trading app allowed me to delete all of those and gave me a fully functional and WAY more convenient way to organize all of my pins. I 100% recommend it, and I even have my mom hooked on the app too!One of my favorite features is being able to take a screenshot of any pin I see on TikTok, Instagram, or anywhere online and identify it within seconds. It’s seriously such a game changer! Before, I never knew how to find certain pins or figure out their value when doing online trades, and now it’s so easy. The app also fully satisfies my organization-loving personality. I love being able to keep track of my collection, organize everything, and have all the information I need right in one place. I’m obsessed!!

The developers reached out to me and asked I could try out their app. l downloaded it and saw that there was a free trial for 10 scans and you can make 2 collections oralbums. I wanted to scan my favorite pin, which is a Snow White Disney100 FigPin, but it simply wouldn't take. I tried 3 more times and moved on. After scanning a few Pooh pins that were more easily recognizable, I ran out of scans. I realized that rescanning the same Snow White counted as 4 scans. I did the trivia, which was fun and useful! But honestly, I deleted the app after because I wasn't interested in purchasing their monthly or yearly subscription. I messaged them back and let them know about the issues I had. I was thinking that would be the end of that, but they reached out and offered to give me unlimited access for a month. It's a fun app to use when you have unlimited scans because the scanner takes a few tries to recognize a pin OR I can search for it on eBay, screenshot that, and add an image to the scanner that way. But at that point they should just have a search bar, which I, and many others, have suggested as well and they're in the works of developing that. The app crashes quite often when you're scanning a lot of pins (even makes my phone heat up). The active and sold eBay listings aren't always accurate if the pin is titled something too specific OR vague since it's essentially a search bar with the title of the pin. The app is a work-in-progress. It's not a necessary app for me, personally, since there are many free tools out there. But it's a fun app to try out, a great concept, and the co-founders are very nice!

Hi there ✨Thank you so much for sharing this 💛 we truly appreciate you taking the time to write such detailed feedback. We’re really sorry about the scanning experience and how quickly your scans were used — that’s definitely not the experience we want. We’ve actually made improvements so scans only count when a match is found, and we’re continuing to refine recognition every day.For harder pins like that Snow White one, using a clear photo or submitting it through Submit a Pin can help us get it added quickly for everyone. We’re also actively working on adding search, improving eBay accuracy, and reducing crashes so the app feels much smoother overall. It truly means a lot that you still saw the vision and gave it a try 💛 we’re working hard every day to make it better and would love to have you back in the future ✨

Pin Collecting Easier

In the 24hrs I’ve been using this app, I am loving it. It is very limited on what you can do before having to pay monthly or annually to continue using the app. But personally for myself, I find it well worth the current price they are asking. This app has made it easier for me to document all my collections, ISO, and traders. The app has an incredible scan feature to identify your pin and pull up lots of info on the pin. It shows who made it (Boxlumch, Loungefly, PALM, etc), what edition (open, limited release, limited edition, etc), other pins in the set (so you can quickly and easily add them to your ISO), and even eBay listings which links for sold and active to make pricing your pins easier when doing those big trades. You can add pins to your personal collections and sort those into individual folders (helpful when you want to go complete on a specific character rather than collecting full sets), add them to your traders, or your ISO. Can’t wait to see have this app continues to grow. LOVE IT‼️

PHENOMENAL APP

If you’re a Disney fan especially a pin collector the Pin Trading app is an absolute must have! From the moment you open it, everything feels magical, intuitive, and delightfully Disney like. Whether you’re a seasoned trader or just starting your pin journey, this app makes the whole experience fun and effortless.User-Friendly & Seamless! The interface is clean and easy to navigate, with bright icons, helpful menus, and clear instructions. Even if you’re not tech-savvy, you’ll have no trouble scanning pins, tracking your collection, or exploring trading opportunities. Everything just works fast, responsive, and enjoyable.Scan & Organize With Ease! One of the best features is the ability to scan your pins instantly adding them to your digital collection. The app keeps everything organized beautifully, so you can view duplicates, favorites, and trade ready pins at a glance. I love how it feels like a digital scrapbook of all my Disney memories!Connect With Other Collectors!Trading pins with friends and fellow collectors has never been easier. The app helps you share your available pins and discover new ones you need making the thrill of the hunt even more social and interactive. The Only Thing Missing (But Could Be Amazing!)The app is nearly perfect but one feature would take it to the next level:A catalog feature that tells you which set a pin belongs to the moment you scan it. Right now, you can see the pin’s details but it doesn’t automatically show the full set or context for where it belongs. Adding a catalog or set lookup would be an incredible bonus for collectors who want deeper insight into their pins.

Wow… this was such a joy to read. Thank you for taking the time to write something so thoughtful and detailed.Hearing that the app feels intuitive, organized, and actually makes collecting more fun means everything to us. That “digital scrapbook of Disney memories” line especially made us smile. And we really appreciate the catalog suggestion. That’s a great idea, and deeper set context is something we’d love to expand on as we grow. Feedback like this genuinely helps shape what we build next!Thank you for being part of the community and for loving the Pin Trading app the way you do! 💛✨
