The AI has been rebuilt from the ground up. Five difficulty levels that finally feel different: level one plays like a real beginner, level five will punish a loose stone. NEW • Empty board opening. Start on a bare 9x9 board instead of the four centre stones — Settings › Game Board › Starting Position. The AI has its own models trained for it. • Nigiri. The traditional way of deciding who takes black now plays out on the board. IMPROVED • Accessibility throughout: VoiceOver labels on every button, full Dynamic Type support, and Reduce Motion is respected. • Your settings and your shape collection come back when you reinstall. • A gentler start for beginners, teaching atari through liberties. • A smaller download, despite twice as many AI opponents. FIXED • Coin rewards no longer appear behind sheets. • Stale data after resetting the app. Online play is switched off for now. There were too few players for matchmaking to find you an opponent, so it was a dead end. Everything else is unchanged.

Capture Go is friendlier than ever. • Rebuilt basics tutorial — Atari, captures, and ladders now taught step by step with glowing liberty hints. • Tap-to-continue pacing — pauses after each key moment so new players can follow along. • A floating Go-stone dock replaces the Collection tab. • Coin-reward animations and daily rewards fixed, plus smoother transitions.
