So I actually really like this game. It doesn’t shove adds down your throat at every opportunity, even after you progress pretty far. The levels do start to repeat after a bit but I actually didn’t mind it and noticed there were even a few new levels being thrown in even past level 200. But… I got to level 235 and I closed the app to go do something else, and now when I come back it loads the start up menu thing and lets me push play, but after I do that everything is black, the hi is still there like I could get a hint or skip and all of the stuff, even the pop up add is there, but the rest is black it’s unplayable. I even tried skipping it and it was still black. I was pretty disappointed because I actually really liked this game but it’s essentially unplayable, unless I want to play there weird version of snake (which is my least favorite part of the game btw).

Way way too many ads. To the point where the game is unplayable without paying to remove them. It’s not uncommon to have to retry a level many times, and you only get about 4 retries before an ad break. Which takes upwards of 45 seconds. So 30 seconds of play time and then a minute of ads. Terrible. And then it will let you beat 2 levels max in a row without giving you an ad, even if you beat them first try. Game itself is fun. But there doesn’t seem to be any consistency with the level difficulty. It feels like the game is getting harder, then all of a sudden there will be 10-15 levels in a row where it feels like the devs gave up. The hard levels are good. The ones where you have to think and retry several times. But those seem to be the minority. All in all, could be a good game but it’s got some fixes that it needs.

First of all, the game is unplayable unless you pay to remove ads. You will spend 80% of your time watching interactive ads that can’t be skipped unless you pay to play the ad free version. Once it’s removed, it’s more playable but there are still too many microtransactions. Pay to get skins, backgrounds, and hints/skips. I don’t mind the microtransactions being there, but it’s really annoying that I can’t play the game without explicitly clicking “No, I don’t want to pay to Skip this level” every time I die. Otherwise the game is fun, puzzles are challenging, but get repetitive after level 100.

The puzzles are legitimately fun and aren’t the super easy kinds of ones shown on other games’ ads. You do have to think to get them done. However, there’s an ad between each puzzle, so the $2 to remove it was worth it to me. Another downside is that after level 150 (or maybe sooner) the puzzles just repeat randomly and the board changes from “you’re in the top x% of players” to “you’re the top player”, so know that it’s not endless. There are more sounds and backgrounds to unlock, but the puzzles won’t be new anymore. It’s worth the free cost and $2 ad removal, just keep in mind that it won’t be a long-term game (aka, more than a week or a few days)
