Requirements
* Your iPhone/iPad and the receiving device must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
* The receiving device/display must support common cast-receiving technologies.
* For best results, stay near your router and use a stable connection.
* Works with many cast-enabled smart TVs (including models running Google TV™, Sony TV), Chromecast built-in™ displays, streaming boxes, and HDMI sticks that implement standard casting protocols.
Important notes
* Some DRM-protected content from certain apps or services may not allow mirroring or casting.
* Slight latency can occur during screen mirroring; performance depends on your network quality.
* Background playback, screen recording, or overlay features may be restricted by third-party policies.
Permissions & data use
* Local Network access is used to discover and connect to cast-enabled devices on your Wi-Fi.
* Microphone access is only requested if you enable audio capture during screen mirroring.
* We do not collect personal content. Casting occurs on your local network; your photos, videos, and other media are not uploaded to our servers.
* Optional diagnostics, if enabled, are used solely to improve reliability and can be turned off in Settings.

If you encounter connection or performance issues, try restarting your router, ensuring both devices are on the same band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz), and closing other high-bandwidth apps. We’re happy to help with additional troubleshooting steps.
