I was a notability user for 6 years and recently lost nearly one year of my notes by just sign out of iCloud accidentally. I thought I’m safe with syncing my google drive but somehow they didn’t save any of my notes, I found it out until when I lost my notes and trying to pull the back up which was ridiculous. Now I have been using this app for nearly a month and personal I really like it and I have to give a big thumbs up to how straight forward, clean, and reliable of the backup function on this app. I don’t have to afraid of losing my notes again. There is one thing that I would recommend to have which is my favorite function on notability is the recoding audio syncs with the notes. It allows you to go back to certain timeline and know what was the audio when you were writing this. Very helpful for students or who taking notes for meetings. I know it would be very hard to implement, but it would be a very nice add on.

Paid for the premium version because it’s THAT good. Intuitive and easy to use, many great features - basically as good as GN. Plenty of templates, writing tools, page options, I like that when you zoom in the brush size adapts, I love that there’s layers so I can tap to hide my writing for practicing, etc! It’s a fantastic app.I just hope the developers can add widgets and shortcuts to our most used notes. I have a digital journal I access multiple times a day and I wish I could more easily do so. Other than that, it’s a flawless app and I am happy to support the developers for a lifetime subscription that’s so cheap ($6), I’d pay a lot more than that for this amazing app.
i love this app - but harder to work around with cloud storage

I use this app for sheep music, since i needed one that was more convenient than the default. I wanted a free one that i could use but they all sucked. I Stumbled across this app that was the first like 10 notes free and that was perfect for me at the time! As i began to use the app more i fell more in love with it. This led me to buying the pro. With this it was only like $5 for a lifetime subscription. Thats what stood out it function like the expensve apps and does something better but is soo cheep! You really get a good bang for your buck!!!!! The only issue is the cloud storage. it has it but it connects to like Google Drive. So essentially it’s not cloud storage it doesn’t automatically update from my iPad to my iPhone. If i want it to i have to download the back up form Google Drive which take like less than a minuet! Other than that this app is great!

Currently, it relies on manual backups to Google Drive. But we have some exciting news—automated multi-device sync is at the top of our list and is scheduled to arrive around May or June! For a newer app, the number of features here is seriously impressive. I’m really excited to see where these developers take things. Just a few suggestions for small quality of life features: Custom color sets are cool, but only 5 colors at a time feels a bit limited. I’d appreciate the option to add more colors, or maybe see multiple sets at once.I like being able to set favorite zoom levels, but I wish I could toggle them with a gesture, like double tap. It would also be more useful for me if the zoom percentages were specified in terms of page width rather than page height. The excerpt feature is really great, but sometimes the screenshots are a little low quality. I also wish that dragging an excerpt within the same document would create a link to the original location like it does when dragging it to a different notebook.

- Add scribble erase (enabled in the eraser tool);
- Add audio file import and export, adjust the duration of a single recording to 120 minutes;
- Support apple pencil to slide and flip pages in the blank space outside the page;
- Optimize graphic filling to follow stroke colors;
- Optimize the recognition rate of one-stroke shaping for some graphics;
- Fixed the issue of incorrect template size when exporting infinite notes as images;
- Fixed the issue of text underline not being saved in the text box;
- Fixed some UI issues.
