Your Book does more right in the app. Read and pick a chapter's drafts, say a chapter is ready, see past versions, and share a chapter with family. Open a memory or a past visit right inside your Book. Gave Fablr as a gift? Your Book now opens on the book you gave, and you can reach it from Home and Settings. On iPad, Help is now on your Book's home page, and screens you open have a Back button and Help. No connection? The app tells you right away instead of making you wait. Simpler sign in, a clearer Capture screen, and a tidier Settings. The journal has been retired, so the app is simpler. Small fixes and polish.

Your book now lives right in the app. • Read your chapters, fix a word, rename a chapter and check your titles before you print, all without leaving the app. • Add photos to a chapter straight from your phone, and arrange them how you like. • Voice edit: tap Voice edit on a chapter and just say what you want changed. • Help can show you the way. Ask where something is, and the button lights up, or tap Take me there. • If someone gave you your book as a gift, it now shows up in your Library too. • Photos load faster, plus bug fixes.

• Book links now open right in the app. When your Fablr email says your book has a new chapter, tap the link and your book opens inside Fablr. • Your Book in the Library. Storytellers can now open their book anytime from the Library tab. • Smoother consent and sign-in steps while your book is open. • Bug fixes and reliability improvements.

Fixes and improvements • Purchases now activate your plan right away. If activation is interrupted, Restore Purchases finishes it. • Change Password now works. After changing it, sign in with your new password. • You can now remove people from your Community, including guests who helped tell your story. • Picking up a visit where you left off now brings back your earlier conversation. • Adding a photo that's already in a chapter now tells you so, instead of showing an error.

What's New in 1.4.2 • Your Biographer visit now begins the moment she starts speaking. The connecting screen stays up until then, so you're never left looking at a silent room. • A cleaner visit screen: Mute now sits on its own, centered above Pause and End, with more room between the buttons. • Help stays in your visit. Tap Help for a quick spoken answer, then carry on where you left off. • Every visit is recorded and kept in your private archive, and your Biographer will tell you so if you ask. • Smoother conversations: fewer "mm-hm"s, fewer repeated questions, and a Biographer who follows the person behind your photos, not just the objects in them.

A calmer visit. The Biographer screen now stays focused on the conversation, with captions you can turn on if you like to read along, and a recap of your visit when you press End. Capture a photo and tell its story in a fresh, simpler layout. Tapping Help no longer takes you away from your visit. Microphone handling is smoother, and we fixed several issues that could interrupt or end a visit early.

What's New in 1.4.0 • Add a story: start recording a new story right from your Library. Tell the Biographer about any moment that comes to mind and it takes its place in your book. • The Biographer now shows a gentle thinking indicator while it considers your words. • Fixed an issue where a brief connection problem could show subscription prompts to active subscribers. • Faster, more reliable voice sessions started from the Library.

Your microphone is more dependable. We fixed a problem where the app could stop hearing you after your biographer finished talking. The app now checks itself while you record, and if your microphone is ever left off by mistake, it turns it back on within seconds. If Fablr was a gift to you, your recording experience is now built fully into the app. Screens open faster and move more smoothly from one part of your story to the next. You can also ask for help using your voice, add more to a story you have already started, and begin a new story any time one comes to mind.

If someone gave you Fablr as a gift, your private recording link now opens right in the app. Tap the link in your email once, and the app remembers you. No password to make up, no account to set up. Just open Fablr and start talking. Misplaced your link? On the sign in screen, tap "Email me my recording link" and we will send it again. We also fixed a handful of small bugs and made the app steadier throughout.

• Get help without leaving your story. A new in-app help experience lets you ask for assistance right in the middle of a conversation — and can take you straight where you need to go, like your Library. • More reliable help sessions, with clearer on-screen controls. • Polished journal previews and a handful of small fixes.

This update makes Fablr Biographer more reliable and polished across the iOS app, with improvements to voice session startup, story reading and editing, Community invitations, accessibility settings, and account controls. It also includes styling, layout, and stability fixes throughout the app.
