Version 1.3 is about the heat map. It now forecasts when your work is likely to happen, not just when it's due, and measures each day against the free time that day actually has. New: • Tap any day on the heat map to see what lands there and why—due that day, scheduled, planned from a start date, or study for an exam—and how much of the day it takes. • Exams and other assessments now count. Study time builds toward the date. • Hide steps puts a breakdown away without losing completed steps or scheduled days. Show steps brings it back. Updated: • The heat map places work where it's likely to happen: steps you've scheduled land on their days, an assignment with a start date spreads from there, and anything unplanned lands in a window before its due date sized to its type. • Each day is measured against its own free time, so a day full of classes has less room than a weekend. Colors run from a light day to a crunch; red with a mark means more work than the day has room for. • Overdue work, and any step whose day has passed, lands on today instead of disappearing from the map. • Steps and templates are sized in minutes, with blocks shown alongside using your own block length. • An assignment's estimate comes from its steps, or from its type's template until you start working. • Workload adjustment applies to the whole forecast, existing work included. Removed: • The per-type focus-block settings in Workload Planning. Templates, in minutes, take their place. Fixed: • Re-importing a calendar feed always fetches the current version instead of a cached copy. • Removing a breakdown also clears its start date, so starting over begins clean. • Step editors no longer truncate titles on smaller screens.

Version 1.2 is mostly under the hood. The way StudiFoca stores your terms, courses, assignments, and steps has been updated to make room for what's coming next. Your existing data carries over on first launch, with nothing to do on your end. New: • The Terms tab and each term's detail view now explain what goes there when they're empty. Updated: • StudiFoca opens on the Terms tab when there are no terms yet, so a new term is one tap away. Once a term exists, the Starting Tab setting takes over as before. Fixed: • Report a Bug and Request a Feature in Settings now open their forms directly, instead of the support portal's front page.

StudiFoca 1.1 Your choices stay put now. Set the Agenda to End of Term, switch tabs, come back—it's still End of Term. Same for the heat map's Week / Month / Full Term scope, and for the filters on your Assignments and Assessments lists. Before, all three reset to a default you might have set weeks ago on a different screen. The Agenda's scope and its "Hide empty days" switch have moved out of Settings and onto the Agenda itself. Controls for the thing right where you use it. Settings is reorganized around how often you'd actually touch something. Day-to-day items sit at the top; the settings that change how StudiFoca works across the whole app sit below a divider, with a note saying so. Step templates now get their own panel, separate from the assignment breakdown switch. Scheduled steps can now sync to Reminders separately from assignment due dates, instead of both riding one switch. Some wording is plainer, particularly in the workload planning settings and the label color switches, and a few controls now behave properly at larger text sizes. And there's finally a "Leave a Review" link in Help & Feedback, which I probably should have put in version 1.0.

Practice material—problem sets, practice exams, review work—imported from a calendar feed now lands in Assignments instead of Assessments. When the free tier limits how many courses an import can create, the import screen now says so plainly. It used to suggest you could bring in the rest separately, which wasn't true. Also: correct singular and plural wherever the app counts something.

Brightspace and D2L calendar import is substantially improved: courses in a combined feed now import individually, coursework no longer arrives duplicated, and items due late on the last day of term are no longer missed. If your term dates leave a course with no coursework, the import screen tells you rather than quietly leaving it out. If you imported a D2L course in 1.0, delete that course before re-importing. The old and new imports don't recognize each other, so re-importing on top creates a second copy instead of updating the first. Also: cleaner assignment details, and more accurate coursework types.
