- Plan-a-meal popup: tapping a meal in the suggestion list now collapses the input into a green chip showing the picked meal, with a Change button to switch back. Matches the Edit-meal popup's selection style and confirms visually that the link to the meal library happened.
- Verify-chore popup matches the website now: Full / Partial / Bonus / Custom point chips, a live "X points will be awarded" preview, and an optional Notes field. Math is the same as the website (Partial = floor of half, Bonus = floor of one-and-a-half).
- Verify and History popups: opaque backgrounds and readable text in dark mode. The April theme update missed both, so the popups bled through to the page underneath and labels were dark grey on dark grey.
- To Verify tab: a chore that the kid finished after its due date no longer shows up in both Overdue and Needs Verification. Late-but-completed chores now belong only to Needs Verification.

v1.15.35: Fixes the meal-edit, trade-bid, chore-bid, and meal-suggestion popups, which had been rendering with no background since the early-April dark-mode update. The page behind was bleeding through, and on iOS it sometimes looked like meal selections were not being saved.

- Notifications now fire at family-local time, not your device's time. Travel to a different
timezone and your "remind me at 7am" still fires at 7am family time.
- Today/overdue chore bucketing also uses family-local date so late-evening travel doesn't roll
today's chores into overdue.
- Parent calendar: picked dates no longer shift by a day. The date you tap is the date that gets
saved.
- Parent calendar: school events now actually create. Picking the School category previously dropped
the school fields silently; school events now go to the school endpoint with kids, school, and
no-school/early-release/remote flags intact.
- Parent calendar: availability category now writes a real availability override per selected child
instead of a generic family event.
- Parent calendar: deleting an event from the detail modal now actually deletes, and the calendar
refreshes immediately after.

- Parent dashboard tiles no longer double-count chores that a kid has marked done but you haven't verified yet. Overdue and Needs Verification now always agree with the list below.
- Kid push notifications no longer fire for chores already completed when status and completed_at drift. Server push and on-device push both use the same drift-safe rules now.
- Parent Operations overdue list now includes assigned chores past due, not only pending ones. Previously-hidden backlog will now surface.
- Parent push notifications for pending verification now cover drift rows, so you get nudged even when status has not advanced.

- Set weekday default / Edit weekday default. One tap on the green button in a kid's Transport Rules editor now pops a single sheet for mode, bus number, morning time and afternoon time. Save upserts both the morning and afternoon default rules in one go. If a default already exists the button reads Edit and the form pre-populates.
- 14-day preview now respects the school calendar. Holidays and teacher workdays render struck-through with the event name. Early-release days highlight with the event inline.
- Preview filters weekends. Header reads Next 14 weekdays.
- Rule edit form labels read Morning time / Afternoon time. Time field always visible, so drives self, walk and bike rules can carry a leave-home time.
- Dropped Car from the mode picker. Existing car rules still render, new rules use Parent Car, Carpool, Drives Self etc. Picker order: School Bus, Parent Car, Carpool, Friend Pickup, Walk, Bike, Drives Self.

- Parent calendar: editing an existing family event (e.g. a medical appointment) now opens the edit form instead of showing "Not editable here". The check was comparing the event source to a string the backend never sends.
- Parent Operations verify-chore modal is readable in dark mode. Title, chore name, point labels, Custom input, and Cancel button were all hard-coded dark gray on the themed dark card. Now route through theme colors.
- Parent School Transport tab times now show "7:00 AM" instead of the raw database value like "07:00:00.000000".
- Parent School Schools tab pencil opens the full kid edit form (the same one reached from Parent Kids), focused on the School Info / Transportation section. Bus pickup/dropoff and car pickup/dropoff times are now editable from the School tab, not just the Kids tab.
