I downloaded Project Aqua for my daughter, and honestly, it’s been such a joy to watch her create. The app feels like a real art studio, but simple enough for a five-year-old to explore on her own. She loves coloring and tracing, and I love that everything she makes feels truly hers.What surprised me most is how thoughtful the design is. It’s calm, beautiful, and never overwhelming. There aren’t any ads or distractions, just pure creativity. We’ve spent rainy afternoons building a little museum of her artwork, and she beams every time she adds something new.It’s warm, fun, and so easy to use. It’s become one of our favorite parts of the day. If you have kids who love to draw or imagine, this one’s a gem.

There is something magical about seeing your kid’s art turn into something that looks “complete” or “perfect” (with ai) but I don’t like that the tutorial and so much of the app is so centered on this experience. In my opinion AI could be better used to inspire kids to try new things and learn different techniques to better understand art, rather than relying on it. I’m hesitant to let my kids use this because I fear they will never be proud of the artwork THEY created by hand and won’t appreciate the imperfections of real art. Is there a way to make it feel more like a robot is doing it for you? Maybe it’s a robot friend you play with and they have their own gallery of ai generated images made from your gallery instead?Other than the magic ai button, this app is a lot of fun and promotes exploration and creativity, which I’m very thankful for. The credit system encourages kids to explore the whole app. The AR 3D island is SO FUN and I love the gallery.

This app is awesome. Kids can easily design a drawing and turn it into their own digital art gallery. They can also upload things they have already created on paper so they can play with it in the digital format. Navigation is very easy, the interface is colorful and engaging. And the "undo" button makes it really easy to experiment with different types of styles. :) I showed my son this app and he loves all the different versions he can make using the "magic" button in the app. I can't wait to see what he comes up with! I also enjoyed using it myself :)

Project Aqua is my 9 year old’s new obsession… and honestly? I get it. One minute she’s following a drawing tutorial, the next she’s designing outfits or curating her own art museum! It’s so amazing to see an Adobe app made just for kids that sparks imagination instead of endless scrolling. I love that she’s learning, experimenting, and expressing herself.. and I don’t even have to feel guilty about screen time! Perfect for parents, grandparents, or anyone with a little creative genius in their life. Highly, highly recommend!
