Improvements: • Articles keep more of their photos, including captioned photos in WordPress posts. • Lead photos are recognized more accurately, even when a news site publishes the same photo at different sizes.

New: • DeepSeek chats print like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini: your prompts as bubbles, the answers full width, sources as numbered links, and code blocks intact. For DeepThink chats, you get the answer without the reasoning. • Long chats that load messages as you scroll now print in full, not just the part on screen. PrintFriendly scrolls through the conversation first, with a Stop button if you want to cut it short. Improvements: • Print lays pages out properly in Safari. Long tables, lists and code blocks continue onto the next page instead of being cut off at the bottom, tables too wide for the page are scaled to fit, and right-to-left articles print right to left. On iPhone and iPad, pages fill out properly and no longer spill onto blank pages when you use wider margins or a header and footer. • AI chat PDFs no longer put "You said" or "ChatGPT said" in front of every message. Your prompts already sit in bubbles, the way they look on screen. • The Screenshot button matches the size of the toolbar buttons around it, and zoomed screenshots are centered with the bottom reachable. Fixes: • ChatGPT PDFs keep their math formulas and the images you uploaded with a question, and show one Save as PDF button in the header instead of two. • Shared Gemini conversations print the answer, not just the question, and use the conversation's title. • Reddit posts print with their photos and comments again. • NPR stories with more than one author show the authors' names, photo captions print as captions, and the "Email us your question" and "Support public media" lines are left out. • AOL and other sites that repost news no longer open with the source's logo as the main photo. • Short author bios at the end of an article are kept instead of being removed. • Saying yes to "Add Save as PDF" on one site no longer uses up the offer for the other sites, and No thanks declines only the site you are on. • Printing no longer hangs on pages with certain nested lists, or fails when an image floats inside a link.

New: • Amazon product pages print as the product. You get the title, photo, price and rating, the feature list, the brand's own section with its comparison charts, the description, product details and the top reviews, instead of pages of menus, ads and links. Fixes: • Claude conversations save again. After Claude's October redesign, a PDF could come out as your list of chats instead of the conversation you were reading. Pictures in the conversation come through too. • Google AI Mode conversations now include every question and answer, not just one answer. • In ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini PDFs, your prompts now appear as bubbles off to the side, the way they look on screen, with the answers full width. • The labels in AI chat PDFs now follow your language setting instead of always showing in English. • Articles that keep their headline and opening paragraph in a separate header block no longer lose them. • Recipes on Bon Appétit and other Condé Nast sites keep each amount on the same line as its ingredient.

Fixes: • ChatGPT conversations save again. ChatGPT's September redesign broke PrintFriendly on chatgpt.com, so a conversation could come out empty or missing most of its text. Whole-conversation PDFs, the PDF button under each answer, and the Save as PDF button at the top of the chat all work again. • Long ChatGPT conversations now come out complete, from the first message, instead of only the most recent part. • Articles on Smithsonian Magazine and similar long-form sites no longer come out as a single photo with no text. • Tables that sit inside a scrollable box, common on tax and finance sites, are no longer dropped from the PDF. • Photos on Rolling Stone, Deadline and similar sites print sharp instead of as blurry thumbnails. • Variety articles are titled with their headline instead of "More from Variety". • Author cards, "Latest stories" lists, story teasers, tag lists, newsletter sign-ups and ad badges on Variety, Deadline, Rolling Stone and The Hollywood Reporter no longer end up in the article.

New: • Listen. A new Listen button in PrintFriendly View reads the article aloud and highlights each sentence as it goes. Pick a voice, set the speed, skip by sentence, or tap any paragraph to start from there. It reads the cleaned-up article, not the menus, cookie banners, and share buttons around it. Free, with no new permissions. • Save to OneDrive and Notion. They join Dropbox and Google Drive: connect once, set a default, and every save after that is one tap. OneDrive saves land in a PrintFriendly folder, and that folder is all PrintFriendly can see. For Notion, choose the page or database each PDF goes into, from the pages you have shared with PrintFriendly. Improvements: • Scrolling and text selection in PrintFriendly View are smoother, especially on ad-heavy pages. • When a cloud save fails, the dialog now says why, in the provider's own words, and offers a Reconnect button when the connection has gone stale. • Charts built with ai2html, used by The Washington Post, The New York Times, Reuters, and most graphics desks, now print as the publisher's finished image with the labels in place. • The "Show PrintFriendly in search results" setting now asks for exactly the access it needs, Google and Bing only, instead of reading as on while doing nothing. • The lead photo comes from the page's own art rather than the social-sharing image. Fixes: • A PDF that could not be made or delivered now says so, instead of reporting a download that never arrived. • Images a site never finishes sending no longer stall a PDF for 20 seconds each. • Setting Images to 0% no longer counts the hidden images against the PDF size limit. • Email no longer spins forever when your PrintFriendly sign-in has lapsed. It asks you to sign in again. • Printing a multi-page full-page screenshot no longer splits each page into a full sheet plus a nearly empty one. • Blog posts on Webflow and other page builders that wrap the article in a header no longer come out empty, and stray "Table of contents" and "More like this" labels are gone. • WooCommerce product pages keep their short description and details. • Lead photos on sites that serve images through a resizer, such as washingtonpost.com, are no longer dropped. • Uploading a file whose name has no extension no longer fails to convert.

New: - Save straight to Dropbox or Google Drive. Connect once, set a default, and every save after that is one click. - Turn a screenshot into a PDF whose text you can select, copy, and search. Improvements: - The Save button now names what it will do, so you can see where a click is going before you make it. - One consistent menu affordance across the whole toolbar. Fixes: - A full-page screenshot that fails now says so instead of stopping silently. - Highlights land where you put them, no longer nest inside each other, and undo cleanly. - Substack posts with transcripts no longer print the transcript twice. - Repaired the icon-only toolbar buttons and the Style panel. - Printing a long ChatGPT conversation now captures the whole thread, not just the most recent part. - Saving a single ChatGPT answer keeps the question that produced it. - Files you uploaded to a chat are now named in the PDF, so an answer never refers to a document that isn't there.

Improvements: - The download dialog gives you "Download" again, right next to "Open in Editor". - Toolbars scroll on narrow windows, so Print and PDF stay reachable. Fixes: - Fresh installs are much faster. We found a bug that was slowing down the browser for some users. - The first click after installing now opens the menu instead of doing nothing. - Hebrew and Arabic AI chat conversations save as right-to-left PDFs, with translated speaker labels.

Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue where some articles were missing their main body text, so you'd only see the headline, photo caption, or a short intro.

Improvements to article cleanup: author names and dates are now captured more reliably, including on articles with multiple authors, and long articles split across multiple sections are no longer cut short. Plus general bug fixes and stability improvements.
