JigglyPaint is a drawing app where the lines refuse to sit still. Every stroke you put down starts squirming on its own, forever, whether you asked for it or not. It's like your drawings are vibing to invisible music.
You draw. It wiggles. You export an animated GIF. That is the entire app. There is no tutorial, because there is nothing to learn. If you ever lost an afternoon to WigglyPaint in a browser tab, you already know how this ends. \(°Д°)/

Every line animates itself the moment you draw it. No timeline, no keyframes, no rigging, no weekend course. A dead doodle becomes a living, breathing, jiggly mess in exactly zero clicks.

Otherwise known as undo and redo. Made a mistake? Go back in time. Regret going back in time? Go forward again. Nobody has ever reached the end of it. (っ-_-ς)

JigglyPaint is a fork of WigglyPaint, the open-source (MIT) drawing tool made by Internet Janitor. It was renamed with the author's consent and has been developed independently since, adding unlimited colours, undo and redo, animated GIF export and the in-app community.
WigglyPaint came first and it is still out there: internet-janitor.itch.io/wigglypaint. Go play that too. Everything good about the wiggle came from there. The bugs we added are ours.

more ITS SO CUTE AND THE SOUNDS AND TOOLS ARE GREAT ITS AMAZINGGGG ok now that that's out of my system i have a few recommendations, like expanding the community center to be more accessible for people to share their work, and maybe give people chances to like and comment on work since some artists like to have constructive criticism or tips. That and maybe the ability to reopen finished works to edit them more, and maybe layers oh dear please add layers TvT but as a 17 year old artist this app is definitely worth the $2 and imo that's kinda underpriced because it's super cute anyway the creator or the studio prob won't read this all but that's my stuff BYEEEE

This app is full of whimsy and has a lot of creative potential, but sadly the iPad version is very limited compared to the phone version. It’s not on purpose, but it’s incredibly disappointing that the iPad version remains largely limited due to bugs :( I draw using my iPad, and I really want to use all of the drawing features this app offers, but I literally cannot. I can only change the color and size of the default brush, all of the other brushes are limited to their default size and color. I recommend this app if you draw on phone, as that version seems to be fully functional. If you’re an iPad artist, I would recommend refraining from purchasing until the iPad version is finally fixed. I don’t want to be too harsh, I know this app has a very small team behind it and I’m really happy it exists in the first place—but I still paid money for a bugged app. Giving three stars feels really bad, but I hope it brings attention to the lack of support the iPad version currently has. I’ll be waiting and watching patiently in the meantime, hoping that sometime in the future I’ll be able to use this app to its fullest ❤️

This app has a lot of potential in the future but right now it’s not worth the money. You have a small canvas, no option to zoom, and you can’t undo more than once (undo button becomes redo button) You are also stuck with using 3/4 colors (if you count the background as a color) and have very limited brush options. I also don’t like the brush sizes, they’re very limited and it’s hard to add detail or erase things. There are no layers. It’s also stuck in landscape mode which isn’t really a problem for me right now but I’m hoping a vertical mode will come out in the future. I do like the community page, though, and the brushes are all very wiggly and cute. It’s fun for making sloppy funny GIFs but not suitable for commission work or detailed art unless you’re experienced with the app.I can’t wait for more updates to be released so this review can change.

This app has a lot of potential in the future but right now it’s not worth the money. I am a daily user of Internet Janitor’s Wigglypaint, but this delivers the same features as Wigglypaint Pro for a one-time payment instead of $5 a month. I’m very fortunate to have discovered this today, I’m extremely happy! The only two things:- Whenever I try to save a palette, if I close the app, the palette disappears. In Wigglypaint Pro, your palettes are saved to your account. I’d really like for this to be a feature so I can use this app more often!- When you obliterate a piece, the canvas should go back to its uncropped size. Right now, even if you hit undo, the canvas stays cropped until you refresh the app. Please fix this!

A community moderation update. Hand-drawn purists and Lab tinkerers no longer have to share the same feed by default — but the community is still one community. No bans, no shame, just filters.
▣ NEW: HAND-DRAWN BY DEFAULT, IMPORT ON DEMAND
• IMPORTED WORKS GET A LABEL, NOT A LECTURE
If you import a background or trace something, the work now carries an "imported" tag. By default, those works are kept out of the main community feed. They're not deleted, they're not hidden from you — your followers and your "by this artist" page still show them.
• NEW FILTER SHEET: SHOW IMPORTED / SHOW LAB
Community screen, top-right menu → "Filter settings…". Toggle imported works on if you want to see them. Toggle Lab (the flask tool) off if you want a Classic-only feed. iOS native switches, your choice.
• HEADS-UP DIALOG BEFORE IMPORTING
Tap import → a quick confirm dialog tells you the work will be labeled. Tick "don't ask again" if you've read it. Now translated in every supported language.
▣ ALSO NEW: A RESET BUTTON FOR THE LAB
• Top of the paint screen, next to the flask — an arrow-circle button. Reset reloads the current tool from scratch and clears any half-finished work that hasn't been saved. Useful if you imported something and want to back out without leaving a trace.

• Block actually blocks now. Before, blocking someone hid their posts but left their comments crawling under yours. Now blocked users disappear from posts AND comments, across all your devices. About → "Clear Blocked Users" wipes the list.

With more filters in play, pagination was giving up too soon. It now scrolls to the actual end.

A small patch with five fixes for problems we shipped last week. No new features — just keeping the promise that switching tools won't eat your work.
▣ FIXES:
• HTML5 FULLSCREEN ACTUALLY WORKS NOW
The "Enter Fullscreen" button in HTML5 Settings used to do absolutely nothing. Now it does what it says, just like Classic.
• EDIT YOUR HTML5 DRAWINGS WITHOUT THEM VANISHING
Saving in HTML5 then tapping Edit from My Works used to drop you onto a blank canvas. Your work is now restored exactly as you left it.
• EDITING A CLASSIC WORK SWITCHES BACK TO CLASSIC
If you were last using HTML5, opening an old Classic drawing from My Works no longer leaves you stranded on the wrong tool with an empty canvas. The app picks the right tool for the file.
• TOOL SWITCH NOW ASKS BEFORE DISCARDING
Mid-drawing, tapping the other tool now pops up a confirm dialog so you don't lose unsaved work by accident.
• IPAD EDIT NO LONGER BLACKS OUT THE WHOLE WEBVIEW
On iPad especially, hitting Edit could leave you staring at a black void instead of your drawing. Classic and HTML5 file formats are now routed correctly. No more void.

• SWITCH WITHOUT LOSING WORK
Mid-drawing, you can hop between Classic and HTML5 freely — both canvases stay alive in memory. Switch, sketch, switch back. Your strokes are still there.
• HTML5 TOOL SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE
On first launch, the HTML5 tool now follows your iPhone's system language (English, 中文, 日本語, 한국어, ภาษาไทย, Español, العربية), falling back to English elsewhere. No more defaulting to Chinese.
▣ POLISH:
• FOCUS MODE, REDESIGNED (iPhone)
Tap Focus to push the canvas to the top of the screen for more room — while keeping your colour palette, brush and tools at the bottom. Previously Focus hid everything; now you can actually draw in it.
• iPad gets the full canvas by default — Focus button removed since iPad screens already have plenty of room.

- Custom palettes now load correctly when you Edit a saved work from My Works — no more being overwritten by cached colours.

This update is all about coming BACK to your art — re-edit any saved GIF without color loss, see your trace references properly, and enjoy a cleaner UI.

Open any saved work in My Works and tap the new Edit button. Pick up exactly where you left off — same colors, same lines, no quality loss. (Older works saved before this update will fall back to GIF re-import.)
• FULLSCREEN MODE
Tap the fullscreen button to hide all navigation chrome and paint on a bigger canvas. Tap again to bring everything back.
• AUTO TRANSPARENCY MASK
Import Trace Reference now auto-enables the Transparency Mask, so your reference image is actually visible while you draw. No more "where did my reference go?".

The big fix you asked for: your Quick Colours and saved palettes finally stick around. Tweak a colour, name a palette, close the app — it is all still there when you come back.
▣ WHAT'S FIXED
• QUICK COLOUR NOW PERSISTS
Change a swatch in the Classic tool — red to black, or anything you like — and it stays that way the next time you open the app.
• SAVED PALETTES STAY SAVED
Name and save your own colour scheme, and it survives an app restart now, right where you left it.
• GENERAL POLISH
