A FULL FLASHCARD, WRITTEN FOR YOU
Filling in a flashcard by hand takes longer than learning the word. Vocabul's AI fills in all of it:
- A clear definition, in plain language
- An illustration for the main meaning, generated with the card
- CEFR level (A1–C2), so you know how advanced a word is
- Real collocations: the words this word actually travels with
- Example sentences you can borrow in your own writing
- A translation in your own language, one tap behind the definition
- IPA transcription
- Part of speech and grammar markers
- Usage register: formal, informal, slang, literary, technical
Multiple meanings? Each sense gets its own block, up to six, so a word with three faces stays one card, not three. You can still edit definitions and examples by hand, and add or remove meanings.
SAVE FROM ANYWHERE
- Heard a word? Type it.
- Reading on your phone? Select text in another app and share it to Vocabul.
- Reading on paper? Point the camera at the page and tap the word.
Phrases work too: save "look forward to" or "by and large" as one card. As you add a word, Vocabul suggests its dictionary form, so you save "run," not "ran," and it catches near-duplicates already in your collection.
ORGANIZED BY WHERE YOU MET IT
Group cards into Sets: a book, a show, a course, a client. Words you scan or share drop into the Set you used last, your most recent cards float to the top, and search finds any saved word or Set, typos included.

Vocabul is free with a small monthly AI allowance, and Plus gives you about four times as much. If you use it up, new cards wait until it renews or you upgrade, and every card you have saved stays open to read, search and edit.
