Just downloaded the new Taziki’s app and it was really easy to get set up. I had my account created, rewards loaded, and an order placed in just a few minutes. The menu is simple to scroll, customization was straightforward, and checkout was fast. I also like being able to save favorite orders for busy nights. Definitely makes ordering pickup a lot more convenient.

I ordered food on the app at 4pm. App said food would take 90 mins. After 30 I called the store to see if it would be ready earlier. The staff said they didn’t even have the order yet and the app purposely delays the order because they don’t know how busy the store would be. They said they would make it right away because it wasn’t busy. So inefficient and a very stupid design. I ordered before the peak dinner time yet the app purposely delayed my order until prime dinner time? That doesn’t make any sense. I work and have 4 kids. I have better things to do than sit in my car waiting for food for over an hour. This design makes we more likely to get takeout from somewhere else.

I had an existing version of the Taziki’s ordering app on my phone and tried to use it. It kept failing when I went to submit the order. I figured that maybe I needed to update the app and checked the App Store. I found another version of the Taziki’s app that was released recently, so I downloaded it and placed the order that way. Luckily it went through this time, although I lost all my history and rewards from my previous account. This is a poor strategy to not carry over any order history or rewards from the previous instance. Luckily I’m paying for good food and not for their IT services.

The app is super simple & has alot of features I find very useful along with being super helpful to those with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
