Mac

Filter news on your Mac using prompt or keywords using only your local resources. Get sentiment analysis, topic grouping, summaries, and export your favorites. This app provides access to a global RSS database with over 10,000 continuously updated news sources from around the world. It helps you read, analyze, and understand the news using on-device AI, including Apple AI. Free version allows you to read 100 sources, You can export results enriched with tags, geodata, and sentiment analysis to another RSS feed or a CSV file, send news to a Telegram channel, or integrate your own gateway using the API on your website. Two filtering modes: Reader Mode • Browse all news from your selected sources with automatic updates. • Each article is analyzed by AI for sentiment, keywords, and geolocation tags. • Tags are always generated in English, even for non-English sources — allowing the app to group articles from different outlets about the same event into “folders.” • View summaries for news groups, revealing multiple perspectives on the same topic. • Use the text filter to include or exclude words (add a “-” before unwanted terms). • Filter news by sentiment or source. Filter Mode • Define a prompt-based criterion — the AI will automatically read articles for you and keep only the relevant ones. • Create multiple tabs, each with its own criteria. Every article is checked against all filters automatically. More tools: • Bookmarks: Save important articles so they won’t be cleared when refreshing your feed. • Summaries: Generate a digest of the latest headlines — or test your Mac’s performance by summarizing all global news for a day. • Chat Tab: Ask AI to rewrite summaries, compare opinions, or explain complex news topics. • Fear Meter: See global sentiment trends over the last 24 hours and view summary stats by source. • Workspaces: Create multiple workspaces to keep different topics separate and organized. Limitations:  AI requires either powerful local resources or spending money on paid API services. We have tried to cover all options. • Apple AI is available on all Macs released since the M1, and you can use it if it is available in your region and enabled on your device. • You can also connect your own local or home AI server if your Mac has at least 16 GB of RAM • Or you can specify an API credentials for third-party providers. In the case of news, the larger and more powerful the model, the better it "reads the room" and understands the context of what is being said in the news. In the screenshots for the application used Apple AI only. Terms of use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
