FERMNTR is the app I wished existed when I started brewing. It now covers the whole brew — from sketching a recipe, to brew day, to fermentation, to what's left in your inventory — without feeling like a spreadsheet.
Most recipe tools want you to think in grams and IBUs from minute one. FERMNTR lets you start with what you actually want the beer to taste like — the hop character, the malt backbone, the yeast personality — and fills in the numbers as you go. The stats are all there if you want them. They're just not in the way.
Brew day shouldn't be a juggling act. Steps, timers, mash temps, and notes live on one screen. If you've got a Brewzilla, FERMNTR talks to it directly, so the temperature you see is the real one in the kettle. No more flipping between three apps with sticky fingers.
And no more guessing what's happening in the fermenter. Connect your RAPT or TILT devices and watch gravity and temperature update in real time, or log readings by hand in a few seconds. Either way, you get clean charts and a dashboard that tells you, at a glance, which batches need attention and which are quietly doing their thing.
There's a bonus for the lazy (and the forgetful): when a fermentation moves to its next step, FERMNTR can automatically retarget your temperature controller to match the plan. Fewer alarms, fewer "oops I forgot at 1am" moments. (Premium, compatible controller required.)
Everything syncs across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, with widgets so you can check a batch without even unlocking your phone.
