Postal Vote BD is the official mobile application developed by the Bangladesh Election Commission to enroll voters and track ballot papers only at home and abroad. However, voters will exercise their voting by manually casting vote in a postal ballot paper sent by postal services. Voters will send this ballot paper by postal service to concerned electoral official(s) in Bangladesh. This secure and verified platform enables eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights conveniently from anywhere.
CURRENT FEATURES:
- Enrollment & Registration
Start enrollment directly from the app. Simply provide registered mobile number to create a secure profile.
- Voter Enrollment:
Complete verification through a secure eKYC process, followed by a facial verification with liveness detection to confirm voter identity. User can also provide passport details (optional) and postal address for receive postal ballot.
- Ballot Tracking:
Once voters are registered and verified, a ballot is prepared and sent to your registered postal address(obtained during enrolment process). Voter can track the delivery status of ballot within the app to ensure safe and timely arrival.
- Ballot Return and Verification:
After receiving a ballot, simply scan the QR code printed on the enve using the app. Complete a quick liveness check, cast a vote on the paper ballot, and return the envelope to voter designated constituency for official processing.

Receive timely alerts about deadlines, application status, and important updates.

Really appreciate the team for listening to user feedback and quickly fixing the initial address issue for USA and Canada. It means a lot when developers actually pay attention and respond so fast—great job!There’s just one small thing still left: in the profile section, the address is showing the state name before the city name, even though the address is entered correctly. It’s a minor issue, but fixing it would make the experience even smoother.Thanks again for the hard work and for continuously improving the app! Keep it up!
3rd party usage tracking is unacceptable (fixed)

Update: It looks like the issue below was fixed. Props to them.The original version of this app did not track users across the internet, nor does any other voting platform in the world. As shown in the Apple store disclaimers, this new update silently pushed usage statistics tracking and sharing across all platforms, including to 3rd party companies. This is a serious concern for a national voting app. This tracking needs to be removed immediately.

It seems app cannot handle to many users at a time. It is a server issue. I have been smiling, blinking and looking to the right and left and then be told the verification failed because of too many users. It should be the other way around. They should tell before you take the picture that it is busy.
