Every morning, dialing in his perfect shot is the highlight of his day. I noticed he kept a big running log of his shots in a notebook and often said, “I wish there was an app for this.” I quickly mocked up a simple app for him, and he loved it. He not only gave me the idea but also provided invaluable feedback. My husband is my first customer, and this app was made with real espresso lovers in mind. Wonderful app. Simple and easy to use.

The best thing about this app is its simplicity and user friendliness. The other apps have too just way too many variables and complexity. The apps try to be everything at once - which is ok for those who want that. However if you just want to dial in a simple espresso this is perfect. I have 2 suggestions though:Firstly I would appreciate if there was the option to add espresso machine. Just like there is an option to add grinder. As just like people have multiple grinders, they can also have multiple espresso machines. Currently I put in the espresso machine in a text field called Dosing Method - which also does the job.Secondly I wish there was sign in/user account functionality. My wife and I both are coffee enthusiasts and would really like if we had the ability to have a shared coffee log. User account functionality would allow us to do that.

It does the job plain and simple. Been using text editor to record my shots, and switched over to this quick as I could. No “AI” and gimmicks, just a clean fully functional dial in shot tracker.

I was so excited for this app when first released. The first few weeks were so good. Then a quiet update to limit features and charge a subscription killed any interest I had. A one-time charge to support the dev, happy to do so! But I refuse to subscribe to an espresso shot journal.
