Event feeds and notifications now load automatically as you scroll, eliminating the need for a button. Users can sign in or sign up with Vipps on iPhone when the Vipps app is installed, and they can connect or disconnect Vipps from their sign-in methods. Upcoming and Past tabs have been added for joined, hosted, and club events, which also now load more content as you scroll. Bug fixes.

Deleted or missing events and clubs now display errors immediately instead of after a delay. Your ongoing ride or run is now conveniently positioned at the top of the feed for quicker access. Additionally, you can now add your gender to your profile, which is optional and only visible to you. Bug fixes have also been implemented.

The event form now accurately reflects the specific requirements based on your event type. After creating an event, you can directly navigate to it from the share pop-up. The app now provides clearer error messages when loading fails, indicating the reason for the issue. Bug fixes include improvements to the event joining process and location selection accuracy.

The mandatory terms gate now fills the screen instead of appearing as a bottom sheet. A new Sign-in methods screen allows you to view and attach Google and Apple sign-ins. The Explore section features a Notifications bell and improved event filters. Bug fixes include correcting event join/leave actions, clearing notification counts, and removing a block when creating event route links.

You can now enjoy several exciting updates and improvements in Flokk. Explore Enhancements - A new Notifications feature lets you easily access all alerts from Flokk. A bell icon beside Discover and Following notifies you of any missed updates, even if push notifications didn't reach your phone. - The app icon now shows the number of unread notifications, making it easy to stay updated. Notifications are marked as read when you open them from your lock screen. - On Explore, you can quickly jump back to the top of the list by tapping the Flokk logo or the Discover and Following tabs. Discover Improvements - You can easily search for a location in Discover. Adjust the map and immediately see event updates, and return to your current location with a single tap. - Discover remembers your manually selected location and search radius for your next visit. Sign-in Method Updates - A new Sign-in methods screen in Settings allows you to see which sign-in options are connected to your account. You can attach Google for future sign-ins, and Apple users on iPhone can attach their accounts similarly. Any Apple sign-in already associated with your account will remain visible on Android. Bug Fixes - The app no longer freezes on some Android devices when tapping the screen. - Joining or leaving an event now provides accurate feedback so it’s clear when the action has been completed. - Clearing the route link when creating or editing an event will no longer block you from proceeding. - The mandatory terms screen now fills the screen rather than appearing as a bottom sheet, improving accessibility on Android layouts. Enjoy your rides and runs with an updated Flokk experience!

You can now manage your notifications more effectively. Head to Settings → Notifications to customize which alerts you receive for event updates, cancellations, and message board activity, all organized by category. Following a club has become even more intuitive. You can now easily mute new-event notifications or unfollow directly from the club’s page. Stay updated in real-time! You can pull down on both the Discover and Following feeds to refresh them and see the latest events without missing a beat. We’ve made several bug fixes to enhance your experience: - Tapping an event's location now opens the map at the exact spot, resolving issues with common or ambiguous names that previously scattered pins across the map. - On Android, tapping an event's route link now functions properly. If a link can't be opened, you will receive a notification instead of it failing silently. - The app will no longer freeze on startup for users who have denied or turned off location services. It will show the "choose your area" prompt instead of attempting to open the map picker prematurely. - A club's event list will now update immediately when an event is edited, deleted, or repeated. This ensures you always see the most current information. - The "Upcoming events" section on a club's page will no longer display past events, keeping your view focused on what's coming next. Enjoy these updates as you explore events and connect with your favorite clubs!

You can now customize your notification preferences. Open Settings → Notifications to choose which updates you receive for event updates, cancellations, and message board activity. When you follow a club, you’ll find a convenient menu on the club page. From there, you can easily mute new-event notifications or unfollow the club whenever you wish. Bug fixes: - Tapping an event's location now opens the map directly at the specific spot, eliminating scatter from common or ambiguous names.

New in this release: Messages on club events - Club events now have messages. Ask the host a question, and hosts can post announcements to everyone attending. - Answers and replies appear directly under the question they belong to, so conversations are easy to follow. - Messages keep themselves up to date while you're reading and refresh when you come back to the app, so anything new shows up right away. - Writing a message is a single tap — the composer opens with the keyboard ready and sits just above it. Bug fixes - Various improvements to overall app performance and reliability.

Event creation for clubs has been enhanced. When you create an event on behalf of a club, it will now immediately appear in that club's event list, making it easier to manage and share your events. Navigating between events and your profile settings is now easier than ever, with fixed glitches and improved back-navigation to enhance your experience. Profile and club image customization has been upgraded. You can position and zoom your profile picture when selecting one, and make adjustments before saving. Your images are stored at a higher quality for better visibility. Additionally, when creating a club, you can now easily position and zoom the club's avatar and banner. The banner preview will match how it appears on the club page for perfect framing. Bug fixes: - Resolved an issue where event cover images would fail to upload when using small images, such as AI-generated or cropped ones. You’ll now receive clear explanations for any failed uploads. - Fixed navigation issues related to moving between event pages and your profile.

You can now manage your events more effectively with the latest updates to Flokk. Hosts have gained the ability to toggle events between public and unlisted directly from the manage screen, making it easier to control visibility. Unlisted events will now clearly display an "Unlisted" tag on the event detail screen, so participants always know the status of an event. Clubs can now enrich their event offerings by loading past events in their event lists, providing a comprehensive look at what’s happened before. Additionally, club staff can easily repeat events on either a weekly or monthly schedule, allowing them to create up to six months of future events in one go. When creating an event, you can save time by tapping on pre-filled speed and distance values instead of typing them in manually. Plus, when you add an event image, you have greater control over how it appears—simply drag and zoom to select the exact part of the image you want to showcase. Bug fixes: We’ve resolved various issues to improve overall app performance and stability. Enjoy a smoother experience as you plan and participate in your cycling and running events!

New: Club cohosting is now live! Clubs can now cohost events with brands, other clubs or people of interest. Updates / Fixes: Max participants now show in the event details page. Tapping a meetup location in an event is improved - Choose which available map provider you want to use.

The new update to Flokk bring the following changes and improvements: Club Features You can now create a club directly in the app — no need to visit the website. Tapping a club's name on an event now opens the club's public profile page, showing its description, links, and upcoming events. When creating or editing an event, club members can now choose to host the event on behalf of one of their clubs. Event Creation & Editing Creating an event is now a bit shorter — date/time and location are now combined into a single step. Creating or editing an event with a cover image is now much faster: the event saves right away and the image uploads in the background. The event shows "Image uploading…" until it finishes. You can now choose whether an event is public (visible in feeds) or unlisted (only accessible via direct link). Events created by individuals (rather than clubs) now default to unlisted, so they aren't shown publicly in feeds unless you change the visibility yourself. Unlisted events now show a small "Unlisted" tag with a lock icon in the corner of the event card. When creating a club event, you can now choose to automatically join as a participant. Editing an event now skips the host and activity steps, since those don't change. For past events, the Edit, Cancel and Delete buttons are now hidden instead of being shown as disabled — past events can only be duplicated. Feeds & Filtering The event feed now has two tabs: "Discover" for events near you, and "Following" for events from clubs you follow. You can now filter the events list by more than one activity at the same time (e.g. show both rides and runs in one feed). The filter button shows the first activity plus a "+N" indicator when several are selected. The activity filter now has a checkbox next to each group name (Cycling, Running) so you can select or deselect every activity in a group with one tap. Sharing & Notifications Event share links are now shorter and cleaner (e.g. flokk.fun/events/V1StGXR8mZ instead of a long ID). You can now share an event straight to your Instagram story — the cover image opens in the story composer, and the event link is copied so you can paste it into a link sticker. Right after creating or duplicating an event, you're now prompted to share it — to your Instagram story, by copying the link, or via the system share menu. Tapping the share button on an event now opens a sheet with two options: copy the link, or share via the system share menu. Club pages now have a share button in the header, so you can copy the link to a club or share it via the system share menu. You'll now get a push notification when a club you follow posts a new event. Tap the notification to open the event. The Settings screen now has a Notifications section: turn notifications on if you haven't yet, or get a shortcut straight to your device settings to change them. Event times now always show in the event's local time zone — a Copenhagen ride at 06:00 reads "06:00" whether you're in Copenhagen, London, or anywhere else. Profile Updates Event cards now show the host name so you always know who organised a ride. Your clubs are now visible on your profile, so you can quickly see which clubs you're part of. Your profile now shows highlights (events joined, favorite activity, clubs followed) instead of the old stats grid. If your profile is missing a photo or last name, you'll now get a gentle reminder when creating or joining an event, with a link to complete your profile.

What's new in Flokk? Push notifications Now you will know immediately when a club you follow releases a new ride or run. Discover & follow events more easily: The event feed is now split into two tabs: Discover for events near you, and Following for events from clubs you follow. If you haven't followed any clubs yet, the Following tab will nudge you in the right direction. Clubs, front and centre: You can now create a club directly in the app. Club names appear on event cards so you always know who's behind an event, and tapping a club name takes you straight to their club page with their description, links, and upcoming events. Your own club memberships are also visible on your profile. Hosting on behalf of a club: Club members can now host events under a club's name when creating or editing an event, and can choose to automatically join as a participant at the same time. Public or unlisted events: When creating an event, you can now choose whether it's public (visible in feeds) or unlisted (only reachable via a direct link). Events created by individuals default to unlisted. Unlisted events show a small lock icon on the card. Easier sharing: The share button now gives you options: copy a clean, short link (e.g. flokk.fun/events/V1StGXR8mZ), share via your phone's share menu, or post straight to your Instagram story. Right after creating or duplicating an event, you'll be prompted to share it immediately. Filter by multiple activities: You can now filter the event feed by more than one activity at a time — for example, show both rides and runs together. Group checkboxes let you select or deselect an entire category in one tap. A handful of fixes and polish: Opening an event link when the app is closed now takes you directly to the event. Sign in and sign up links open inside the app if you have Flokk installed. Long titles and descriptions are handled cleanly throughout. If you decline notifications, we no longer ask you again and again.
