PrimeBite gives you 1-to-5 fish activity ratings for 9 rated species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-mahi, Black Marlin, and Atlantic Blue Marlin. Each rated species has its own math. Other fish use a separate Solunar Windows baseline, so you can still log them and see their windows. Open a rating to see the drivers that applied and how they moved the score.
Three things make PrimeBite different.
1) THE RATING IS HONEST.
Tough days look tough. The scale is simple: 1.0 is the model's worst conditions, 2.5 is average, and 5.0 is its best. It does not promise a catch. Each rated species has its own evidence base instead of one formula for every fish.
Largemouth Bass also has What To Throw: a ranked lure lineup based on today's conditions, with reasons, how-to details, and checked source notes.
2) THE WEATHER PAGE IS BUILT FOR ANGLERS.
Check temperature, wind, rain, visibility, UV, cloud cover, pressure trends, tides, marine conditions, and air quality. Offshore Maps show sea temperature at no charge. Pro adds currents, chlorophyll, sea-level anomaly, water clarity, and Yellowfin/Mahi hot zones that show which water looks best. Tap any spot to read the data there.
3) THE LOGBOOK FINDS YOUR PATTERNS.
Save catches, trips, photos, conditions, gear, and notes. Catch entries can include a 7-day weather lead-up when data is available. After enough catches, PrimeBite finds patterns in your own logs. On iPhone, selected older photos can be scanned on-device and saved as past catches when a fish, date, and location are found.
A few things you won't find:

I’ve only used this app for large mouth bass fishing. It seems very accurate to the ratings. I recommend this app to all my fishing buds and anyone else that wants to time their fishing when the bite is good! Blessings and peace.
