This version is intended to be available for download across multiple App Store storefront countries to allow international visitors to easily install the app. However, full functionality is restricted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using device location to determine regional availability. Behavior outside the UAE: Food Battle (dishes): Shows the message: “Gusto AI is currently serving the UAE region only.” Ordering / Delivery: Not available (integration is limited to a UAE-only delivery partner). Recipes: Available globally (no regional restriction). Behavior inside the UAE: Users have full access to all features. Location permission / fallback: Location is requested only to determine UAE eligibility for region-restricted features. If location permission is not granted, the app defaults to “Outside the UAE” mode and shows the UAE-only message for restricted features. Timing note (business critical): We will be exhibiting at Gulfood (UAE) from 26–30 January 2026. It is important that this build is approved and released as soon as possible (ideally before 26 January 2026) so expats, investors, and visitors from many countries can download the app without needing to switch their Apple Account region.
