B777 Question Bank — NEW Over 1,200 questions in Technical, Operations, Performance and Dangerous Goods, checked against the current FCOM and QRH. Practise by category or chapter, set up a quiz, browse and search, star questions and revisit the ones you missed. Flag a question you think is wrong and email your flagged questions to the developer. Answer Finder — NEW Import your own manuals as PDFs; they stay on the iPad. Scan or type a question and see the passages that answer it, with a link to the page. With Apple Intelligence on iPadOS 26, get a suggested answer with the line it's based on. If you disagree, paste a line from your manual and ask again. Your own questions — NEW E-Learning: keep your six-monthly online exam questions by question ID. Scan screenshots, type them in, or import a colleague's file. My Questions: write your own multiple-choice or question-and-answer questions and practise them with the bank. Also NEW: Scan to PDF turns photographed pages into one shareable PDF. Boredom Buster now opens Head Scratchers: fifteen geography puzzles. Layover Allowance: more than one hotel per station, each with its own rates. NOTAMs about the take-off computation are now flagged as PERFORMANCE.

Cold Weather Operations - A new navy look, with the SNOWTAM / GRF decoder now one of its pages. - The de/anti-icing flowchart is now a step-by-step walk-through: tap Done or YES / NO and it lights the path to TAKE-OFF ALLOWED. - The Holdover Timer has a large colour-coded countdown and keeps running if you leave the screen. - Updated Snowfall Intensity vs Visibility table and notes. - Cold temperature effects are drawn live: move the OAT slider and watch the altimeter error grow. SNOWTAM / GRF - NEW: Paste a runway condition report, or scan a photo of it. Each runway is decoded by thirds — RWYCC, condition, coverage and depth — with the worst-case third highlighted, and one tap sends it to the decoder for take-off and landing guidance. Scans are read on the iPad itself. My Flight card - Block off, Take off, Landing and Block on now sit on the flight strip, with the flight and block times beneath. - A Scan Flight Times key opens a new voyage report straight on the Flight Times page scan. - STD and STA show each airport's local time in brackets. Also - In-Flight Crew Rest fills in take-off (STD + 20 min) and flight time from My Flight. - Calculators has the new look, and endurance, range and density altitude work out as you type. - NEW: Reorder items in My Checklists. - Updated flight crew report times in the FDP quick reference.

My Flight card Each airport now appears once, on the flight strip under the OFP buttons, with its local time, temperature, ISA deviation, wind and CAPT ONLY / HOT WX badges under the code. Tap an airport code to open it in My Aerodrome Information. On iPad the Time to STD countdown sits in the middle of the strip. Dispatch Brief has moved down beside Flight Data and Crew, giving the ETOPS entry more room. NEW: Block on and Landing in the Arrival panel, with your Block Time and Flight Time worked out underneath. Scanning a voyage report fills them in. Arrival fuel (FMC-RSV, ARR FOB, Available Holding) has its own row. NOTAMs NEW: NOTAMs that affect take-off or landing performance go to the top of each airport, with a violet PERFORMANCE badge. Runway and aerodrome closures come next, in red. The notes on the NOTAM map are now a bulleted list that folds away with a tap. A fresh look My Aerodrome Information, BTMS and Can We… now have the navy Flight Deck look. BTMS uses the on-screen keypad, with a decimal point for weights. Can We… remembers your selections, shows changed ones in amber, and has a Reset button. Also NEW: Reset Checklist on each of My Checklists. Available Holding accepts fuel figures above 20,000 kg: up to 150,000 kg on board and 60,000 kg diversion fuel. The keypad's 0 key is now the same height as the others.

New in this version: a smarter Flight Log, NOTAMs you can tick off, and monthly allowance totals. • Flight Log: PIC or co-pilot, and the whole crew — importing the company Crew Log Report now logs each sector as PIC or co-pilot time from your own grade on it (CA or FO), instead of everything as PIC. The NAME PIC / CREW column shows every pilot on the flight deck, commander first. Import the report again to correct flights already in your logbook; anything you have edited is kept. • Day and night time, estimated — two new columns split your PIC and co-pilot time into Day and Night, with page and grand totals. Night is estimated from the airports and block times along a great-circle track (EASA night: the sun more than 6° below the horizon), and take-offs and landings in the dark go in the night columns. You can always edit it. • NOTAMs: tick off and star — every NOTAM has a tick box to mark it read, with a count of how far through you are (8/10 read) for the flight and for each airport. Star the important ones and Show Important lists only those. • Layover Allowance: monthly totals — add each layover to the monthly log and see the month's total, in each currency and in your home currency, to check against your pay slip. Every month is listed, and any month can be shared as text. • Crew you've flown with — the My Flight crew list now suggests people you have flown with before as you type a staff number or name. Someone new is saved to the DOJ Estimator, with an offer to add their date of joining. • Available Holding: quicker entry — a new look for the data cards, with fuel, weights, altitude, track and distance typed on the keypad instead of spun on a wheel, and times typed as four figures with Now and Clear. • Fixes and polish — sharing a runway layout with a magnetic variation set no longer fails, and the All Menu Items button is now blue so it stands apart from My Menu.

New in 3.5: a cleaner main screen, the dispatcher's brief, silent pre-flight reminders and the whole route on the NOTAM map. - A cleaner main screen — the main screen now keeps just My Flight and My Menu. Every other item is in All Menu Items, with a search bar that also knows other names: "MEL" finds Tech Log, "holding" finds Fuel Management. The My Menu button on each row still adds an item to the main screen. - Dispatch Brief — new on the My Flight card. Read Full OFP PDF or Paste Full OFP Text picks up the flight plan's Dispatch Briefing Info: the dispatcher, their phone and desk, and each note, with the dispatcher's starred notes in orange. - Silent pre-flight reminders — once an STD is set, three quiet notifications: FD / CC Joint Briefing at STD −83, Preliminary Loadsheet expected at −40 and Departure Clearance request at −30. No sound, no badge. They move with the STD, and can be turned off in Settings. - The whole route on the NOTAM map — the route line is now built from the OFP's navigation log, so every waypoint along each airway is drawn, not only the ones in the ATC route. Any waypoint without a position is listed for you to add. - ETOPS 420 NM circles — drawn round the ETOPS entry and exit, ETP and weather-permissible airports. Airport markers on the map are now round dots. - Place the aircraft on the 3D globe — press and hold to drop it, then drag it into place. Placed by hand it shows orange; from GPS, red. - Captain-only aerodromes — a new switch in My Aerodrome Information, shown as a CAPT ONLY badge on the My Flight card. - My Aerodrome Information — listed by ICAO code, A–Z, in world-region sections. The ATIS frequency is always shown, with D-ATIS and its times as an extra. - Reset All Flight Data, everywhere — now also clears the NOTAMs and weather, the map's route, ETOPS, MORA and charts, the holding fuel and alternates, and the dispatch brief. Your saved waypoints are kept. - Time to STD fixes — the countdown now always starts after a scan or a manual entry, uses the OFP's date, and starts from the Pre-Flight Timeline time picker too. A delay left over from an earlier flight no longer shows. - And smaller things — the My Flight card opens and closes smoothly, and the de-icing NO choice now sits quietly in the card's colour.

A better number keypad Number fields across the app — the Fuel Uplift Check, Available Holding, the briefings, Quick Return, My Aerodrome Info and more — now use the app's own keypad, docked at the bottom of the screen.

New in 3.3: the My Flight card, redesigned. - My Flight, redesigned — a new navy flight-deck look, laid out the way a sector runs: the OFP and ETOPS bar, Time to STD, the pre-flight checklist, then the route strip with STD, STA, flight time and approximate T/D on the track. Under it, Departure and Arrival panels side by side, each with its airport, weather, briefing and times, then Fuel / Weight beside Load. On iPhone the panels stack. - Paste Full OFP Text — new, beside Read Full OFP PDF. Open the flight plan, Select All and Copy, then paste: every page is read just as the PDF is — My Flight Data (checked on the scan sheet first), NOTAMs and weather, the route and waypoints, ETOPS and MORA, and the alternates. Only the weather charts need the PDF. - Time to STD at a glance — the countdown is now a lit panel: green with more than 15 minutes to go, amber in the last 15, red once STD has passed. After block off it shows on time or early in green, a delay in amber. - Your own pre-flight checklist — tap Edit List to drag the items into the order you work through them and add your own. Your items can be renamed or deleted, and Restore Defaults puts the original list back. The order is kept for every flight. - Above MLW, clearly — when the take-off weight is above maximum landing weight, the tonnes to burn have a line of their own in larger type, with the Fuel Jettison calculator under them. - Sticky note — clear it and Save now keeps a fresh, blank note.

New in 3.2: one flight plan PDF fills the whole app, your route on the NOTAM map, and a 3D globe. • One OFP PDF fills the app — tap Read Full OFP PDF at the top of My Flight and pick the flight plan. One read fills My Flight Data (checked on the scan sheet before anything is saved), the NOTAMs and weather, the route and its waypoints, ETOPS and MORA, the weather charts and the alternates in Available Holding. The screenshot and paste options are all still there. - Open flight plans straight from other apps — share a flight plan PDF from any app and choose 777 QRG; it goes straight into Read Full OFP PDF. • Your route on the map — the ATC route from the flight plan is drawn on the NOTAM map. Waypoint positions are licensed data, so the app builds your own list from your flight plans instead, kept on your iPad for every flight after. • 3D globe — see your flight on a 3D Earth: airports, route, ETOPS, MORA, SIGMETs and your position. Drag to turn, pinch to zoom, tap an airport or a SIGMET for the details. • ETOPS and MORA on the map — the ETOPS segment, ETPs and their diversion airports, weather-permissible airports ringed orange when the forecast is near minima, and high-MORA legs in amber (10,000 ft+) and red (15,000 ft+). • SIGMETs and weather charts — current international SIGMETs drawn by hazard, kept for when there is no signal, plus the flight plan's significant weather charts in a zoomable viewer. • NOTAMs and weather redrawn — clearer airport cards and the TAF as a timeline. • Hot Temperature Approaches: ILS — enter the final approach point altitude and glideslope and see what the altimeter should read in the heat. • Paste screenshots for Available Holding alternates and in the Text Scanner. • Fix: Available Holding's Fuel on Board Now no longer copies the holding fix figure. ``` ## Notes for App Review ``` No sign-in, no account and no in-app purchase. Every feature works on first launch. 777 QRG is an independent reference and calculation tool for Boeing 777 pilots. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Boeing or any airline, and it is not an approved operational document. The in-app Disclaimer screen (General section) says so. NEW IN THIS VERSION Most of 3.2 reads the pilot's own airline flight plan (a PDF or screenshots of it), which is company material we cannot supply. Without one, the new map features can still be seen: 1. Main Menu -> NOTAMs, Weather & Map -> the map button. 2. Tap the weather button (cloud with lightning) -> Download SIGMETs Now. Current international SIGMETs are drawn on the map, coloured by hazard. Tap a coloured area for the full SIGMET. 3. Choose Globe at the top for the same layers on a 3D Earth. Drag to turn, pinch to zoom, tap a SIGMET area. NETWORK The only new network request is to the NOAA Aviation Weather Center's public Data API (aviationweather.gov/api/data/isigmet) for current SIGMETs. No key or account; the request is identical for every user and carries no personal or flight data. Results are kept on the device for use without a signal. Flight plan PDFs are read entirely on the device (PDFKit and Vision). Nothing from them is uploaded. DATA AND PRIVACY Unchanged: everything a user enters stays on their device. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs. Location (optional) is used only to show the aircraft on the NOTAM map and is never sent anywhere. CREDITS NASA Blue Marble imagery (NASA Earth Observatory; used under NASA's media guidelines, no endorsement implied), Natural Earth (public domain), NOAA/NWS SIGMET data (public domain) and airportsdata (MIT licence) are credited on the Disclaimer screen.

New in 3.1: NOTAMs and weather decoded and on a map, a runway layout builder, and community sharing of runway layouts and aerodrome information. - NOTAMs, Weather & Map — paste the weather and NOTAM pages from the OFP and they come back in plain English, airport by airport, with METARs, TAFs and SIGMETs alongside. Enter your times and each NOTAM is coloured: green if active during the flight, orange if only in the hour either side, red if not active. Tap the ? on the screen for a short guide to what to copy. - Everything on a map — every airport with NOTAMs or weather, the aircraft from GPS or dragged into place, 420/840/1260 NM rings, and a ground speed wheel with an ETA at each airport inside them. - Teach the decoder your way — tap Edit on any NOTAM to write your own summary and highlight the words that matter. It comes back whenever that NOTAM turns up again. - Runway layout builder — draw an aerodrome's runways to scale, with displaced thresholds, the LDA they leave and the wind from the METAR. Open it from Aerodrome Suitability or straight from an airport's NOTAM or weather card. - Community runway layouts — share a layout with other pilots under a nickname, or download theirs. - Community aerodrome information — share an aerodrome from My Aerodrome Information, find others by ICAO, or open one with a share code from a colleague. Each upload shows how complete it is, and Fill My Empty Fields adds what you're missing without touching anything you've entered. Your hotel, station contacts and photos are never shared, and nothing personal leaves the iPad. - What's New — the 3.0 highlights stay in the app's What's New page alongside 3.1. 777 QRG is a reference and planning aid. It does not replace official company documentation or an operational briefing.

New in 2.8: an FIR boundary map, screenshot pasting into OFP and Ground Chart, and a lot of polish across the flight screens. - FIR boundary map — Route & Area Information now draws the FIR boundaries. Press and hold to drop a pin and note the ATC frequency for that boundary; tap a saved pin to read it back, press and hold again to edit or delete. Labels let you add plain text to the map, and they drag, grow and shrink to suit. - Where's my aircraft? — once the registration is known, My Flight Card offers a button straight to FlightAware's page for that tail. - Paste screenshots into OFP and Ground Chart — keep your camera roll clean. Take the screenshot, tap the thumbnail in the corner before it disappears, crop it, tick, then choose Copy and Delete. Both screens now have a Paste option waiting for it. - OFP scan reads more — it now picks up the OFP number, whether the sector is ETOPS and the distance or time that goes with it, and the MZFW, MTOW and MLWT, then says so when an actual weight is close to a limit or over it. - Reminders on My Flight — a new card raising high elevation, cold weather and ETOPS considerations for the sector you have loaded. Acknowledge each one and it goes. - My Flight Data redrawn — rebuilt around a flight card and an aircraft-and-weight card. Every figure is edited where it is shown, and the planned and actual weights sit side by side with the margin to each limit. - Voyage report fills itself in — adding a flight starts from what the app already knows: flight number, aircraft, route and crew staff numbers. - Layover allowance converts itself — set your home base currency once and the total shows in it as well as the station's. Rates are fetched when there is a signal and kept for when there is not, and you can still enter your own. Meal rates are now changed by tapping them. - In-flight crew rest redrawn — five clear cards in place of a wall of same-coloured boxes. Rest per crew is the big figure, and the period you are in says NOW. - Elevation from the METAR — Departure and Arrival briefings can take the aerodrome elevation from the METAR instead of you typing it. - MSA sectors by finger — on the 25 nm circle in My Aerodrome Information, press and drag around the rim to place a sector radial. - Fixes — the DOJ estimator's date can no longer be changed by accident while scrolling, and the Time Calculator's calculation type selector is no longer hidden in landscape. QRGme is a reference and planning aid. It does not replace official company documentation or an operational briefing.

OFP Alternates detection from pasted text. Available Holding now reads the DEST ALTN table as text. Select the block in your flight plan, copy it, and tap Paste OFP — or copy the whole page, it makes no difference. Nothing is recognised and nothing is guessed at: the characters are the characters. It names what it found before you commit to any of it and says so if something was printed like a row and could not be read. And scanning a new plan onto yesterday's alternates now asks whether to add or replace, so you don't end up with two flight plans in one fuel calculation.

NEW Quick Return Performance — landing distance for a one-engine return, your weight and weather already in the boxes. Six runway states against every autobrake setting, all on one table. Miles & Minutes — calibrate a terminal chart, draw on it, get miles and time to fly. Each leg can carry its own speed. Memory Items drills — a failure dealt at random on a photo of the flight deck. Fly it from the master warning to the condition statement. Aerodrome Suitability — your own divert list, answered runway by runway. Plus My Aircraft, AR Table Projector and List Sorter. IMPROVED Available Holding is now a picture with a countdown, and the alternates table scans off your OFP. Weather Decoder checks real limits, not advisories — tailwind, crosswind, visibility, and the RCAM read backwards. Scanning the OFP sets your STD countdown, in UTC, local and at the departure field. Chart measurement in feet. Your own abbreviations.

Fly it, don't just read it. Miles & Minutes — Load a terminal chart, calibrate it against any distance you know, then draw your pattern. Miles and minutes appear as you draw, with a groundspeed per leg if you want it. Charts save per airport, so the quick return you worked out on the ground is one tap away in the air. Memory Items, on the flight deck — Two new drills. A failure or manoeuvre is dealt, and you fly it: cancel the warning, make the calls, touch the actual switch on the picture and say where it goes. Read-backs, hints when you're stuck, and a siren that runs until you cancel it. In-Flight Contingencies you can move — Drag the aeroplane across the track and watch the level change at 5 NM. Step the performance contingency through all six stages on plan and profile at once. Every number on screen comes from the rule itself. Feet on the ground chart — Measure in feet or metres, and tell the app which printed scale bar you calibrated on. 1000 m is not 3000 ft, and now it never has to be. Scan the alternates table — Photograph the OFP's DEST ALTN block and the distances, tracks, fuel and runways land on a review sheet. Nothing is applied until you've looked at it. My Aircraft — The OFP scan now reads the tail. The first time it meets a new registration it asks what the aircraft seats, once. On the My Flight card, the VREF30 for your aircraft now stands out. Plus the previous release's Aerodrome Suitability, METAR scanning, real landing limits, and the rebuilt Available Holding, if you missed them.

- Aerodrome suitability - Build your own list of en-route airfields with runway and approach info. Each aerodrome gets a runway layout diagram. Scan a METAR to auto decode and provide various cautions for adverse weather. - Available Holding, rebuilt as a diagram. - Hot Temperature Approaches — two calculators merged into one picture of the approach. - Ground chart range rings you can drag, and new help on displaced thresholds, LAHSO, and what a landing distance actually measures. - FDP Calculator — one panel, scheduled against permitted, at a glance. - AR Table Projector — put a chart or your OFP flat on a real table and walk round it. - DOJ Estimator — press the seniority curve and read off any point on it. - Add your own abbreviations to the A–Z. - List Sorter — paste a list, sort it, copy it back. - VREF straight from the weight on your Flight Card. - My Menu — star what you use most and keep it at the top. - Where in the World — 1,191 landmarks, up from 243. - New app icon. - Plus fixes and polish throughout.

Coolest update so far! (IMHO) WHERE IN THE WORLD? — NEW A zoomable world map, in General, with two sides to it. Quiz gives you over 240 places to find. Big Ben at one end; where Einstein was born, or the headquarters of Apple, at the other. Pick Easy, Medium, Hard or Mixed, then take ten places and eighty seconds — around the world in 80 seconds. Pan, zoom, tap and hold to drop your guess. Every one is scored on great-circle distance in kilometres and nautical miles, with the compass bearing of the miss: 300 km east of it, not merely 300 km out. When the clock stops, every pin goes back on the map — the place in green, your guess in purple, the line between them — and tapping either one tells you what it was and gives you the story behind it. Put a name in before you start and the round lands on the scoreboard, where the least distance off is top of the list. No clock? Untimed walks the whole list in order and remembers where you got to. Information is the other half. Tap any country for its own page, with country names and capitals drawn on the map by default. Add landmarks of your own — placed with a crosshair, so nobody has to type a coordinate — and invent your own country fields, which then appear on every country ready to fill in. All of it stays on your iPad.

Dark mode improved. Information added for Alerts inhibited during takeoff. New and Improved Route and Area Information section with zoomable map.

NEW - Holdover Assessment — reads the visibility and Type IV tables together, shows the cell your conditions land in, and the notes that apply. Snow, freezing fog, drizzle, freezing rain. - My Arrival Briefing and My Arrival Card. - My Departure Briefing, with a read-only My Departure Card to brief from. - Crew — staff numbers, names and duties. - My Documents — passports, medicals, licences and visas with live expiry countdowns. - Delayed Reporting on both FDP calculators. - Pavement Loading (ACN) for all seven 777 variants. - Feedback & Suggestions — tell us what's wrong. IMPROVED - My Flight card — aircraft-style fuel panel, ISA deviation, and cold, hot and high-elevation badges on the airport rows. - Main Menu — colour-coded sections with item counts, grouped by phase of flight. - Time Calculator rebuilt — clock and duration modes, no 24-hour ceiling. - My Checklists rebuilt — every step in its own cell, notes attached to the item they belong to. - Unit Conversion rebuilt — converts as you type. - NADP profiles reconciled against ICAO Doc 8168. - Sticky note stays put when you scroll. - Sunrise / Sunset now uses wheel pickers. Plus dark-mode readability and layout fixes throughout.

Four new tools in this build. • Available Holding — fuel endurance, alternate reachability, and diversion planning on one screen. Traffic-light hold times, live countdowns, and a radar-style plot of your alternates around destination. • GMS Call Template — a structured form for in-flight medical calls. Six cards mirror the phases of the conversation. • FDP Timeline — a visual "shape of the day" on both FDP calculators. Report, STD, Standard End, and any extensions from augment rest or commander's discretion arrayed along a green / yellow / red bar. • Am I Acclimatised? — one tap on the Flight Time Tools menu answers the question you don't want to be guessing about before signing on.

My Company FDP Calculator — build your own airline's Maximum Daily FDP table and calculate Max FDP + End of Duty from your STD. UTC offset and report offset override per flight for outstations. A View Table button shows your saved grid with the exact cell used highlighted. Gear Down Landing Rate of Climb (Engine Inoperative) — new calculator on the Quick Return / Overweight Landing screen covering all six B777-300ER and B777-200LR QRH tables (Flaps 20 / 25 / 30). Bilinear interpolation, automatic weight correction, and a table viewer that highlights the four interpolation corners. PAPI Guidance on Vertical Path Deviation — after your VPA calculation, a new callout shows what PAPI indication you should expect out the window at your corrected slope, colour-coded by deviation size. Two new personal logbooks in the General section: My Q & A for the trivia line-training instructors throw at you, and Astronauts and Plonkers for the memorable crew you've flown with. Both searchable, both on-device.

My Clipboard — a customisable digital replacement for the paper flight-planning sheet you carry today. Build your own layout with custom rows or drop in ready-made blocks for Quick Return Performance, Takeoff Performance, Departure Clearance, and Noise Abatement. Save it once, reuse it every flight — everything you type is remembered automatically. Quick Paste turns every calculated value from My Flight Data — MLW FOB, VREF30 for both airframes, current weight, jettison time, and more — into a tappable pill. One tap copies the raw number to your pasteboard. Vertical Path Deviation calculator, new under Hot and High → Hot Temperatures. Density altitude, groundspeed with a wind-vector compass-rose, and FCOM-corrected VPA for hot-day approach briefs.

What's new: - Vertical Path Deviation calculator — a new all-in-one approach planning screen under Hot and High Operations. Steps you through Density Altitude → Groundspeed (VREF-based, with wind triangle) → Vertical Path Angle correction → Rate of Descent. Live visualisations for wind/track and glide slope, plus FCOM table viewers with the interpolation cells highlighted. - System (Auto) appearance option — the Light/Dark switcher on the Main Menu now has a third "Auto" option that follows your iPad's own Display & Brightness setting, including its Automatic sunrise/sunset schedule. Bug fixes: - Fuel Discrepancy Calculator — "Don't show again" on the intro disclaimer now actually sticks between launches. - Flight Log — the logbook grid now scrolls horizontally past the screen edge instead of springing back. - In-Flight Crew Rest — the "Elapsed" timer now resets cleanly on each launch instead of accumulating hours across sessions.

Fuel discrepancy calculator link added to my flight card. Transition altitude selection increments reduced from 500 to 100 feet. Minor Visual/Colour tweaks.

Sunrise / Sunset calculator track and speed entry fields easier to erase/modify. Unit conversion - meters conversion issues fixed. My Aerodrome Information NEW threats and briefing points entry in landscape mode, keyboard overlap fixed.

BTMS section improvements.

- 77W/77L BTMS Calculator — Reference Brake Energy through to the final BTMS synoptic reading, with autobrake, reverse-thrust, taxi distance and deactivated-brake adjustments. - Text Scanner — A new on-device OCR notepad in the General section. Scan a document with the camera or pick a screenshot from your photo library and the recognised text drops straight into a persistent notepad. - STD Timeline Ring — A clock-style countdown to STD on the Main Menu, with pre-flight milestones colour-coded for upcoming, next-up, and already overdue.
