SortieTrack – Mission Flight Management for Civil Air Patrol Aircrews
SortieTrack helps mission aircrews spend less time on paperwork and more time on the mission. Built by aircrew members, it organizes the sortie lifecycle into one guided workflow from Brief and ORM through Mission Flight Plan, Preflight, Flight Log, Postflight, Fuel Receipt, and Debrief.

Track Recording and KML Integration
SortieTrack records a persistent in-flight track between engine start and engine stop, separate from the mission event log. You can also import KML files, including ForeFlight “Send KML to...” share flows, and attach them to an existing sortie.
Crew Sharing
After a flight, crews can share sortie data with other SortieTrack users. Shared sortie packages can be imported as a new sortie or used to update an existing one, helping the whole crew stay in sync.
AI-Assisted Mission Results
Using on-device Apple Intelligence when available, SortieTrack can help generate clearer post-flight text for Summary, Results/Deliverables, and Remarks using sortie details, crew notes, flight log entries, and track data.

Fuel Receipt Tools
Capture, import, replace, preview, and manage fuel receipts directly in SortieTrack. Receipts are stored with the sortie, annotated with pilot info, aircraft tail number, mission context, Hobbs, and Tach details, and can be included in the Sortie Report PDF.
WMIRS-Friendly Workflow
SortieTrack helps aircrews prepare structured sortie information including timing, fuel, weather, crew details, mission results, and debrief data for use when completing official mission reports in WMIRS. It also separates WMIRS-connected steps from app-only flight management tasks.

This update adds a new sortie Logbook export feature with both PDF and CSV options. PDF logbooks now open in-app for review first, with a share button when you’re ready to export.
Weather briefings now include plain-language METAR and TAF translations, making aviation weather easier to review quickly during planning.
WMIRS interaction is also more efficient with direct navigation improvements for sortie actions, including briefing, debriefing, ORM, and related workflow pages. This reduces extra clicks and helps keep the correct mission and sortie context loaded.
