Page turns can break focus: human page turners miss cues, pedals are forgotten or uncharged, Bluetooth can misbehave, and tapping the screen adds stress right when you need calm. Some players cannot spare a foot at all, like pianists and organists, and many simply do not want to retrain muscle memory. AutoTurner lets you perform with only your iPad and its camera. You turn pages using facial gestures that you calibrate to your preference, so the score advances at the moment you intend and your attention stays on the instrument. Hands-Free Page Turning Choose the gesture that feels natural. Set sensitivity and hold duration so turns happen precisely when you want them. No extra hardware is required. Processing occurs on device when supported for responsive, private performance. Supported iPad Models for Hands-Free Turning Hands-free page turning requires an iPad with Apple’s TrueDepth front camera system or an Apple Neural Engine capable of on-device processing: • iPad Pro (2018 or newer: 11-inch all generations, 12.9-inch 3rd generation or newer, or 13-inch) • iPad Air (3rd generation or newer) • iPad mini (5th generation or newer) • iPad (8th generation or newer) Accuracy and Trial For best results, keep facial occlusions to a minimum and position the iPad so the front camera sees your face more or less straight on. Extreme angles or partial coverage can reduce tracking reliability. Instruments that cover the face, for example certain wind instruments, may reduce accuracy. AutoTurner includes a free trial so you can explore the workflow, test hands-free turning with your repertoire and setup, and decide if it suits your needs. Library Import PDFs from Files, cloud services, or other apps. Organize scores with simple tools for sorting, duplicating, renaming, and deleting. Export at any time. The interface is clear and predictable so your library stays in order as it grows. Collections Group scores into named collections for rehearsals, concerts, and gigs. Keep a program together, reorder pieces before a set, or assemble a practice list you can return to tomorrow. Annotations Mark up your parts directly on the page. Choose brush styles, colors, transparency, and thickness. Switch between Apple Pencil and finger as you like. Your markings stay with the score and remain easy to edit or clear. Crop Adjust page bounds to reduce margins and improve legibility. Apply the same crop to the entire score or refine pages individually. All edits are non-destructive and fully reversible. Reorder Rearrange pages with precise control. Move, delete, and duplicate pages, or insert pages from other PDFs at a specified position. Metronome A precise practice tool with adjustable tempo and time signature. Settings are saved with the score. Repeat Mode Define page-to-page jumps for notated repeats. Activate Repeat Mode during a session and the viewer returns to your specified page on cue. iPad-only app. Not available on iPhone.
