Describe a scene and get a finished comic back — pages, cover, speech bubbles and all. Then read it alongside your CBZ, CBR and PDF collection.
You describe a scene. ComicVerse draws it.
Say who's in it, where they are and what happens, and you get back a comic page: panels laid out, characters drawn, the words already sitting in the speech bubbles. If a page comes back wrong, change what you told it and run that page again. Do a few of those and you have an issue.
The comics you make end up in the same library as the ones you read.
MAKING COMICS
• Write a scene, get a finished page back. Pick an art style if you have one in mind, or leave it and the app will choose something that suits the story.
• Any page you don't like, rewrite and regenerate. You're never stuck with the first attempt.
• Easier to show than explain? Sketch the layout on the canvas and generate from your sketch.
• Put a cover and interior pages together as one issue. Your characters keep the same face throughout.
• Export a finished comic and do what you like with it.
READING COMICS
• CBR, CBZ, CB7, CBT, PDF and EPUB files, read properly: smooth page turns, a panel-by-panel mode that finds the panels for you, and a scrubber for skipping ahead.
• Big files open quickly and stay that way.
• Your library sorts itself into series, so issue 4 sits next to issue 3.
• Point it at an OPDS server and read straight from there, or download first for somewhere with no signal.
• Bring in files from the Files app or from Dropbox.
WORTH KNOWING
• On iPad you get a sidebar and a reader built for the bigger screen, not a stretched phone app.
• The Home screen keeps track of what you've been reading and what you've been making.
• Sign in with Apple and your place in every comic follows you between devices.
• Nib, our mascot, turns up here and there.
Needs iOS 17 or iPadOS 17, on iPhone or iPad.

ComicVerse 1.2.0 is the Create studio, grown up.
MAKE COMICS
• Describe a scene and get a whole issue back — up to five pages in one go, cover included, then add pages as the story grows
• Choose the art style (manga, superhero, noir, pop art, newspaper, indie or cartoon) and the model that draws it, GPT Image 2.5 among them
• Add reference photos so your characters keep the same face from page to page
• Pick the page shape: comic book, manga, square, landscape or vertical
• Redo any page with a new prompt while the rest of the comic stays put
• Share pages straight to Instagram or X, framed to fit
YOUR LIBRARY
• Open a comic from the Files app or a share sheet and it lands in ComicVerse
• Drag the filter chips into the order you like — the first one is the view the Library opens on
• Bubbly keeps you company wherever a cover is missing or a filter comes up empty
• A finished download opens the comic with one tap from Activity
FIXES
• Pages generated from a sketch no longer carry the export watermark
• Generation keeps going while the app is in the background instead of timing out
• Project covers no longer go missing after a save
• Generating costs fewer credits per page
