Every practice partner has been retuned, and their responses are shorter and feel more natural. Also in this version:
• Chat titles are now in the language you're practising, not the language of the app.
• Apple Intelligence is no longer marked as beta in Settings.
• The "Listen slowly" button fills in while it's on, so you don't have to rely on colour.

Every persona can now read their messages aloud, each in a voice that suits them, using free iOS voices that work offline. Tap the speaker under a message and Razmova shows you how to install the voice if it isn't on your device yet.

You can now remove the downloaded AI and get the space back. Look under Offline AI in Razmova's Settings - useful if you're using Apple Intelligence, or if your iPhone is short on space. Turn it back on whenever you like. Note: Razmova needs the offline AI (about 1.8 GB) to reply. Apple Intelligence can answer instead, but it's an experimental beta and needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer running iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled in iPhone Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. And once downloaded, the AI stays on your device until you choose to remove it. Plus bug fixes and improvements.

Conversations now use less memory, leaving more headroom while you chat. And if your device doesn't have enough memory to run the AI locally, Razmova tells you when you first open it, instead of downloading a large model it can't use. Plus bug fixes and improvements.

A smoother start. Downloading the AI now keeps going while you use other apps or lock your phone, and the progress bar tracks it accurately from start to finish. If you close the app part‑way, it picks up where it left off.

Your first message can now be answered instantly. On an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence — iPhone 15 Pro or newer, running iOS 26, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings — Razmova replies using Apple's on-device model while the main language model downloads in the background, then hands over quietly once it's ready. On every iPhone, your partner still greets you as soon as a chat opens, and you can type while the download runs — whatever you send is answered the moment it finishes.

Every persona now supports voice input. Emma, Juan Carlos, Gabriel and Javier have joined the beginner personas, so you can practice by speaking with anyone. Voice input also starts noticeably faster, so fewer of your first words get missed.

On iOS 26, tap the microphone to speak your reply to your beginner tutors — your words appear in the chat to review before sending, recognized privately on your device. We've also refreshed the persona profiles

Read-aloud for the beginner personas now waits for a high-quality voice and points you to the exact one to download if it isn't installed yet. Plus minor bug fixes and improvements.

Your beginner practice partners — Razmova, Sofía, and Romy — can now read their messages aloud! Tap the speaker under a message to listen and follow along word by word, or use the tortoise for a slower pace. Plus: the app now opens on your chat list, and your latest conversation always stays on top.

New: try Apple Intelligence in Razmova. On iPhone 15 Pro and newer (iOS 26), you can now turn on Apple's private, on-device model in Settings — it's optional and off by default. We also made some bug fixes.

AI replies now appear as they're written — text streams in live, so you can start reading immediately instead of waiting for the whole response, and you can keep typing while the AI is still replying. We've also made behind-the-scenes improvements to performance and stability.
