Steady is a private, evidence-informed self-help companion for adults who want to reduce or stop unwanted pornography use. It supports the moments before, during, and after an urge with practical tools that work without an account.
PAUSE IN ONE TAP
Start a calm guided Pause immediately. Follow paced breathing, change your setting, and use the response you prepared while clear-headed. Logging is optional and comes afterward.
PREPARE BEFORE THE URGE
Write one specific if–then response, add small environmental barriers, keep a kind note to yourself, and prepare a message for someone you trust. Steady opens a prefilled message for your review; it never sends one automatically.
ADD FRICTION ON IPHONE
With Steady Plus, iPhone Shield uses Apple Screen Time to block the apps, websites, or categories you choose. Apple keeps those selections private. Steady stores opaque tokens and counts, not the names of selected apps or websites.

Optional AI personalization is off until you choose it and sends a limited behavior summary—not your name, notes, contacts, reasons, Screen Time choices, or written plans.

The emergency Pause, prepared response, letter to yourself, trusted-person message, check-in, settings, and full data deletion remain free.
STEADY PLUS
An optional auto-renewable subscription unlocks personalized daily plans, iPhone Shield, the full lesson library, and private progress. Exact pricing and any trial are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.

No user account or demo credentials are required. The core app works offline.

SUBSCRIPTION
Steady Plus is an auto-renewable subscription. It unlocks personalized daily plans, iPhone Shield, the full lesson library, and private progress. The emergency Pause, prepared response, letter to self, trusted-person message, check-in, settings, and data deletion remain free. Purchase and Restore Purchases are available on the paywall and in Settings. The first subscription products are submitted with this build.
IPHONE SHIELD / FAMILY CONTROLS
Path: Me > My protections > iPhone Shield.
Steady requests Apple Screen Time authorization only after the reviewer taps the authorization control. The reviewer then chooses apps, websites, or categories in Apple’s Family Activity picker. Steady stores opaque selection tokens and counts, not selected app or website names. Shield is an iPhone-only Steady Plus feature and requires the approved Family Controls entitlement.
OPTIONAL AI
Path: Me > Settings & privacy > Personal daily plan.
AI is off by default. The consent screen explains that enabling it creates an anonymous Firebase identity and sends a limited behavior summary to our Firebase backend and OpenAI. It does not send the user’s name, free-text notes, onboarding reason, contacts, written plans, exact timestamps, or Screen Time selections. The app retains a reviewed on-device fallback if AI or the network is unavailable. AI cannot change Pause, safety, privacy, scoring, purchases, or Screen Time rules.
PRIVACY
Sensitive notes, written plans, contacts, and reflection records are stored in an AES-encrypted local vault. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics. RevenueCat processes subscription status and identifiers; the optional AI flow is separately disclosed and consented to.
