In six sections, it shows you: • how the photo meets the world of the chosen poet • which themes, language and stance the poet brings • how the image becomes a theme • three key lines under the magnifying glass – surprising, load-bearing, connecting • where the poem stays true to its model and where it strikes out on its own • an invitation for you to write yourself Perfect for anyone who doesn't just want to read poems, but to understand how they're made – and is ready to dare their own.

You now have a choice: poem or life wisdom. Instead of a full poem, you can also have a short maxim crafted from your photo in a single sentence – in the style of your chosen poet, concise and memorable.

Your poems just got even more personal – you can now add extra details about your photo, such as who's in it, when and where it was taken, or the occasion. This info is woven into the creation of your poem.

Photos taken with the in-app camera can now be automatically saved to your photo library. You'll be asked for permission the first time.

Quick access via Spotlight & Siri: Open your diary, create a new poem, or preview your latest poem – without even opening the app. With "Open Poem" you can choose directly from your last 10 poems. Just type "Poem Diary" in Spotlight search or ask Siri.
