Smarter typing in 13 languages. Frequency-ranked suggestions, gentle autocorrect with one-tap undo, and a clean alphabetical layout. No Full Access required.
Typster is a fast, private keyboard built for people with vision and touch impairment.
Switch between 13 languages with a single tap — English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Polish — each with its proper layout (QWERTY, AZERTY, QWERTZ and more).
Suggestions that make sense. Typster ranks word suggestions by how common they actually are, so the word you want comes first — not an obscure one.
Autocorrect that respects you. Clear typos get fixed automatically as you type. Changed something you meant to keep? One backspace undoes it. Prefer to turn it off entirely? One switch in the language menu.
Built for real writing. Contractions and elisions like “it’s”, “c’est” and “d’accord” are handled naturally. Long-press any key for accented characters.
Private by design. Suggestions and corrections run entirely on your device. Typster works without “Full Access” — your keystrokes never leave your iPhone.
• 13 languages, instant switching
• Frequency-ranked suggestions
• Conservative autocorrect with undo
• Optional alphabetical (ABC) layout
• Long-press accents and symbols
• iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape
The keys are certainly large, but it’s laid out A-to-Z and not in the typical keyboard format that everyone is used to.
Developer Response
If you use the keyboard in landscape, it’s qwerty layout. Making a qwerty layout when there are 6 rows seems a bit strange. Do you think that will work?
Misleading imagery
Rebel Rox
The image is shown on the app cell page display that you can make changes to it and that you can have it cord layout, but there’s no functionality for that once you’ve downloaded the app useless
Developer Response
Hi, what do you mean by «cord layout»? When you tap the flag, you can change the layout on portrait. Between alphabetical and qwerty, and between languages. Flip it to landscape for full stanard layout keyboard.
Lacking punctuation, app falls flat
abby._.normal
This app could be an accessibility dream! I have binocular vision dysfunction and strain my eyes quickly so had high hopes for this extension even with the keyboard in alpha-order while phone is in portrait. But there is a lot missing, including important punctuation like the apostrophe. Disappointing.
Developer Response
Thank you for the feedback. I will add the apostrophe and other important buttons on the front page. Please tell me what punctuation you would like to have.
Autocorrect and smart suggestions.
