Fixed an issue where monitoring status wasn’t being saved correctly. The app now properly remembers which firearms you’re tracking. Please re-activate any firearms you want to monitor, as some may have been deactivated during the upgrade.

What’s Changed: • Updated to work with SAPS’s latest system • Simplified search form (Serial + Reference only) • Improved field mappings for more accurate results • Enhanced error handling Important Note About SAPS Results: Due to ongoing instability on the official SAPS enquiry page, users may sometimes need to resubmit their details multiple times — in some cases up to 10 attempts — before a valid result is returned. This behaviour is caused by the SAPS website itself, not the app. The app relies entirely on SAPS’s server to fetch your firearm application status, and in most cases a valid result will appear after a few repeated submissions. If you currently have background monitoring enabled and your original search was not done using Serial Number + Reference Number, please follow these steps: 1. Open the app 2. Go to Search History 3. Delete old monitored applications 4. Re-search using Serial Number + Reference Number 5. Re-enable monitoring This ensures you continue receiving notifications when your application status changes.
