This is a really good-looking app. My initial interaction with it was hampered by a display bug (that’s now fixed), so I’m updating my review from 2 stars to 3 and taking a fresh look. The color choices are difficult to discern for colorblind eyes like mine: for example, in the Sleep Score section, REM and Deep bars look like the same color to me. In the chart for the night’s sleep, I don’t understand what the bar heights are communicating (and the color choices for Deep and Core are really hard for me to tell apart). There are some natural navigation gestures that I keep trying to do but aren’t here, like swiping to navigate days, and navigation between single metric and multi-metric when tapping on elements on the screen. I think this app has good potential, and I’m interested to see where it goes. As it sits it still feels like it hasn’t quite reached 1.0 yet. (A concern: the app’s privacy label says it collects no data, but the AI Coach says it has 30 days on my sleep data already loaded. Is that using on-device AI, or using AI on a server, and if so what? Thats a really important distinction to call out, and if it’s using server-based AI, some discussion in the app about how my data is kept private seems important.)
