OrthoCross brings the richness of Orthodox Christianity to your pocket, combining Scripture, history and spiritual practice in one intuitive app. Inside the Scripture Library, you’ll find every book from the Old and New Testaments organized by genre and tradition, along with a special section for Orthodox additional readings. Daily life in the app begins with a streak counter and a Continue Reading card that lets you pick up where you left off. A Verse of the Day offers inspiration, and the built‑in journal lets you record personal reflections alongside Scripture and prayer.
Beyond reading, OrthoCross invites you to explore separate Eastern and Oriental etiquette guides, curated prayer collections and a library of saints’ lives, all accessible from the Resources tab. The Prayer Library allows you to filter prayers by tradition, Eastern, Oriental, or both, and explore core texts like the Lord’s Prayer, the Nicene Creed and more. When you open a prayer, you’ll see the full text alongside historical context and explanations to deepen your understanding.
The reading experience is fully customizable: adjust font sizes, switch between scrolling and paginated views and toggle dark or light modes to suit your environment. A unique quest system guides you through the history of Christianity, unlocking eras such as the “First Heroes of Faith” and later councils as you progress through interactive timelines. OrthoCross also helps you stay connected to the liturgical rhythm with a Fasts & Feasts calendar that shows major fasts, feast days and seasonal practices for both traditions. Whether you’re reading Scripture, learning about saints or keeping track of the Church calendar, OrthoCross unifies every facet of Orthodox devotion into a modern, polished experience.
