Mocolamma is an unofficial Ollama manager app that lets you manage remote servers using the Ollama API.
Connect to remote servers to manage models on them or use models on the server for simple chat. No need to enter complicated commands in the terminal!
Key Features
・Manage Multiple Servers
Add multiple remote servers to the app and switch between them easily. Assign custom names to each server for simple identification and management.
Each server entry displays its connection status, letting you instantly see if a configured remote server is currently accessible. Error messages appear if connection fails, simplifying troubleshooting.
・Manage Large Language Models (LLMs)
You can view model information on remote servers, add new models, or delete existing ones. The model list can be sorted in various ways, making it useful for sorting by size to find and delete unused large models.
Additionally, if the models contain license information, you can access that data directly from Mocolamma, making it easy to quickly check a model's license status. You can also view detailed parameters like the parameter count and context length.
・Simple Chat Feature
You can use models on the remote server to perform simple chat. This is ideal for testing newly added models. This feature is strictly for basic testing purposes. For more advanced chat functionality, it is recommended to use the official Ollama app or a dedicated chat application.

- Add German (de), Spanish (es) localization by generative AI
→ Since I have no knowledge of languages other than Japanese and English, translations may contain strange translations. If you notice any translations that need correction, I would appreciate it if you could send feedback on what to change and how!
- Add access to each tab in the “View” menu
→ Added menu items to the “View” menu in the menu bar to open the “Server,” “Model,” and “Chat” tabs. Press ⌘ (Command) + 1 to open the “Server” tab, ⌘ (Command) + 2 for the ‘Model’ tab, and ⌘ (Command) + 3 for the “Chat” tab.
- Add demo mode
→ I implemented a demo mode that allows testing the app's basic functionality.
→ You can access demo mode by adding a server with hostname "demo-mode" (server name is optional) and selecting it.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fix issue that scrollEdgeEffect did not work in chat view
→ On iOS / iPadOS 26 and macOS 26 and later, the chat input field background now blurs to blend in.
- Fix issue where network requests could fail when launching the app
→ Since this issue occasionally occurred in the previous fix, I added a retry function to the network check performed when the app launches to ensure this issue is resolved.
- Fix issue where the copy button and retry button icons were not displayed in the chat screen on iOS / iPadOS 17 and macOS 14
- Fix issue where the stop button could not be pressed when “Select Model” was chosen in the model picker of the chat screen
