Note: On macOS 27, Mission Control interferes with dropping on the menu bar. This is out of the app's control.
AirDrop files simply by dragging them onto the app's menu bar icon.
You can drop files, images, links, and text.
Note: The app uses the system AirDrop dialog. It has no control over the AirDrop process or any failures that may occur.
Additional ways to share:
- Share from Clipboard: AirDrop whatever is currently on your clipboard
- Share from Files: Open a file picker to select files to AirDrop
Both actions support keyboard shortcuts that you can customize in the app's settings.
Note: Rich text content is converted to plain text. Rich-text files are sent as files.
Tip: You can even drag and drop a URL directly from the Safari address bar to the menu bar icon.
Tip: Select a URL and either drop it on the menu bar icon or copy it and use Share from Clipboard to open it on your iOS device.
