Chizel is a dating and matchmaking app for people who want meaningful matches beyond the superficial.
Instead of beginning with an endless stream of profiles, Chizel first gets to know how you love, think, communicate, live, and what matters to you. That understanding becomes the basis for a small number of curated introductions chosen for deeper compatibility.
Every match comes with context. Why this person may fit you. What being together could feel like. And what might be worth discovering about each other.
If someone catches your curiosity, you step into their story: a short experience created for the two of you, where each person makes one move. When you both step in, the conversation opens.
Profiles begin masked, under a pen name. You choose when, and with whom, you reveal more of yourself.
No endless swiping. No cold inbox. No need to reduce a person to a photograph before anything has begun.

This is Chizel’s biggest evolution yet.
Chizel began as a companion designed to help you understand yourself more deeply. Now, that understanding has somewhere new to go: helping you find someone worth knowing.
**What’s new:**
• **Matchmaking comes to Chizel.** Go through Chizel’s deeper profiling experience and receive curated introductions built around compatibility beyond the superficial.
• **Be known before you’re revealed.** Members begin with pen names and Chizel’s illustrated aesthetic. Your real identity and photos remain yours to reveal, when and to whom you choose.
• **Know why you were matched.** Every introduction comes with a Note from the House explaining the deeper reason behind the match, what may come naturally between you, and what only the two of you can discover.
• **Step into their story.** Instead of beginning with a cold “hey,” potential matches meet inside bespoke shared story moments designed to give the first conversation somewhere meaningful to begin.
• **Know yourself better.** Your evolving private portrait brings together what Chizel has learned about how you love, think, communicate, live and see the world.
The companion is still here. It simply knows you well enough now to do more than answer your questions.
It can help you find someone worth asking them with.
