Smart Rename 2.35 makes the app useful for far more than photos. • Date variables ({date}, {year}, {month}…) now work on ANY file — PDFs, audio, video, documents. When a file has no EXIF, Smart Rename falls back to the file's own date instead of dropping the variable. • New custom date formats: {date:yyyyMMdd}, {date:dd-MM-yyyy}, or any pattern you need. • Find & Replace now supports regular expressions, with capture groups ($1, $2…). • 8 ready-made templates are now included, so the library isn't empty on first launch. • The live preview now runs on any number of files, before any upgrade prompt.
