I created Speech Album for my son who has autism and is non verbal. While there's lots of great apps out there, I wanted a very simple app with images and sounds that are familiar to him. I decided to make it available for free to any parent who wants to try it out for their kid!
FEATURES:
• Tap colorful tiles to hear words spoken.
• Support pictures and short video clips (great for showing actions or sign language)
• Record your own voice for personalized communication or use text-to-speech.
• Create custom folders to organize pictures by category (food, activities, family, etc.)
• Adjustable tile size
• Auto close timer or manual mode
• Works completely offline with no data collection or tracking
PRIVACY FIRST:
All data is stored locally on your device. It works completely offline.
- Bug fix: Now when you are in a folder and add a new picture, it will be added to that folder.
- Improvement: When passcode is enabled, all the parent buttons (edit mode, choice view, settings) are hidden behind the lock.
- Improvement: Added multi tile delete
- Other minor fixes.
