Build vocabulary the calmer way with the Gold List method. Grow your language habit day by day and turn new words into long-term memory.
The ultimate vocabulary notebook for SAT, GRE, language learning, and general studies.
Tired of the "memorize and forget" cycle? Do you spend hours on flashcards only to blank out during an exam or conversation?
The problem isn't your memory; it's your method. Don't force your brain to memorize. Let it process information naturally.
GoldList is the first app designed to bring the scientific "Spaced Repetition" and "Distillation" methods to your digital life, focusing specifically on long-term retention.
WHY TRADITIONAL METHODS FAIL Standard flashcards often force you to review the same words repeatedly, creating a false sense of mastery in your Short-Term Memory. Once the exam is over, the information fades.
The GoldList method lets information "rest" for at least 2 weeks. When you return, you only review what you've naturally forgotten. This ensures true, sustainable learning.
USE CASES
Exam Prep: Master complex vocabulary for SAT, GRE, or ACT without stress.
Language Learning: Build a solid foundation in Spanish, French, German, or any new language.
General Notes: Organize knowledge for any subject effectively.
HOW IT WORKS
Headlist: Write down the words or notes you want to learn.
Rest: Let the list sit for at least 2 weeks. Do not review it. (Your brain processes this in the background).
Distill: Return to the list. You will naturally remember about 30%. Only copy the forgotten 70% into a new, shorter list.
Repeat: Continue this cycle until the information is permanently stored in your long-term memory.
KEY FEATURES
Unlimited Notebooks: Separate your Spanish vocabulary from your Biology notes.
Smart Tracking: The app tracks the 2-week cycles for you and notifies you when it's time to distill.
GoldList requires an active subscription or a free 3-day trial to access its features, including unlimited word additions, unlimited notebooks, AI translation, and the AI sentence generator. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Unlock the true potential of your memory.

This actually saved me from listening to Spanish I love this app so much
Developer Response
Thank you so much! We’re really happy Gold List is helping you enjoy Spanish learning more. Listening is still important, but building vocabulary in a calm and structured way can make it much easier over time. We are currently trying to make app better in terms of vocabulary collecting experience. Thank you for your feedback.
Pay kind of app
Have to be kidding
I downloaded this app expecting a easy to learn and helpful app and this is what it displays, until you want to actually learn a lesson. From my personal experience, I signed in expecting a lesson, but it expects me to pay for my lessons every month, which is not what I was looking for. I was looking for a free app to learn my lessons. And across this page, there was no X button to get out of that page, instead below, it said "try it for 0.00" and usually I do not want to do that with this app. I am disappointed because this made it seem like a very good app but you have to pay for everything. Please at least add an X button to your paying pages, not everyone wants to pay for everything.

It won’t let me sign in, I thought it was my phone so I signed in on another app and it worked. It lets me go all the way on the sign in but when it’s talking about trying the gold list method it just freezes and nothing happens, it made me mad so I uninstalled it and tried again but the same thing happened! So personally I don’t like this app if possible I’d give it a zero out of ten since I couldn’t use it.
