Too many ads and popups
JohnPhos
I was hoping to check out the Ethiopian Bible as I’ve heard it’s more complete original one. One that has not been edited by the Roman Catholic Church. One that is also been favorably mentioned buy Martin Luther himself. However, this app is not complete and seems to be a great way for you to get malware and apps you don’t want. There are banner ads everywhere. When you click on the Ethiopian Canon, it tells you that it cannot be read because your PDF reading app needs updating. Then takes you to an unknown app other than Adobe reader which is the most reputable one. Definitely would not recommend.
Adult Advertisements On A Bible App
sasg
I downloaded this a few month back and understood that my free access had ended and that there would now be ads. However, ads for adult items, not suitable for family, were being advertised under the scripture of the day I understand that you need to be paid so you can offer this app as well as providing updates but I don’t think that BDSM items should be part of those ads. Perhaps you can speak with the advertisers and make sure their carousel of ads are more family friendly.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the ads are deeply affecting that! Too many ads, many are NOT Christian and even quite the opposite! I got tired of them, saw on the bottom of the screen a banner for getting ad-free. I clicked on it and was taken to a PORN SITE!!! It then threatened to shut down my phone until I deleted the page it had up! My Dear God!!! Really, you guys?!!
NEW IN THIS VERSION
• New Ethiopian Canon texts in English: 2 Enoch, the Prayer of Azariah and Song of the Three Holy Children, and the complete 4 Baruch.
• The Book of Jubilees now has all 50 chapters.
• The Letter of Jeremiah is now complete and appears as chapter 6 of Baruch. Bel and the Dragon now includes the full story of the Dragon.
• Fixed: tapping a verse now selects it, so highlighting, notes and bookmarks work again.
Your existing bookmarks, notes, highlights and reading progress are kept.
