Can’t change account within the app

When you download the app on a MacBook, it automatically defaults to your Apple account and doesn’t allow you to sign in with a Google account.I want to use my Google account so my computer and phone are connected under the same login. I also pay for the upgraded Gemini version through my Google account, but the downloaded Mac app doesn’t give me the option to switch accounts.There needs to be a way to choose or change the login method after installation.

I asked Gemini to compare 2 uploaded documents and explain the differences. I kept getting answers that would change languages in mid sentence. It apologized for the error and said it would not happen again. It happened 6 more times! After being recommended by coworkers, I found it to be a total waste of time. ( it even apologized for that!) If you need or want AI, look elsewhere. 2 hours down the toilet.
