On This Day now understands time zones, can burn the date right onto shared photos, and gives you more control over how years are shown. Thanks to everyone who tested the betas — this one took a while. ## Highlights - Photos show the time zone they were actually taken in and can be "moved" to the correct days if time zones overlap - New (Pro): share a photo with the date drawn onto the image - Tidier years and relative dates ("3 years ago") ## Time zones - Photos can display in their original capture time zone, with a caption for foreign zones (e.g. "Los Angeles · PDT"). New "Time Zones" section under Fullscreen Date Format. - Optional banner offers to fix grid grouping when a photo landed on the wrong calendar day because of a time-zone difference. - New FAQ entry explaining how this works. ## Sharing - New (Pro): share a photo with the date drawn on as a Liquid Glass capsule, instead of or alongside the caption text (Settings → Image Share Setting). - The share sheet now previews the image. - Shared text includes the App Store link. - Cleaner sharing to Threema (text left off where it doesn't belong). ## Viewing - New: relative dates in fullscreen ("3 years ago"), via the new Fullscreen Date Format setting. - New (Pro): cap how many rows show per year, with a "See more" button. - Photos load faster and at higher resolution. ## Fixes & polish - Updated app icon. - Fixed a wrong time zone for photos taken at the same clock time in different zones. - Smoother fullscreen swipes; fixed stuck video placeholders. - FAQ: added a note on personal / shared library filtering.
