Turn an Apple Music playlist into a crate. Vinyl Crate finds each song on a record you own, lets you review the matches, and refreshes the crate from the playlist whenever you like. Ready for iPhone Duo. Unfold it and the tab bar becomes a sidebar, with your collection beside it. Fold or unfold mid-scan and the dead wax camera follows the display you're looking at, while the outer display shows the scan's progress. Crop and rotate your own photos of a record. Revert to Original always brings back the untouched shot. On iPad, Slide Over and narrow Split View now get a tab bar, so you can always switch sections. Plus: evenly sized album tiles, more covers in landscape, two-volume albums kept apart, and syncing that follows the Discogs account you're signed in to.

Your collection now lives in iCloud. Albums, crates, listening history, dead-wax scans and your own photos — synced across your devices, and safe when you change phone. Point the camera at a record's run-out groove and Vinyl Crate works out exactly which pressing you own. No barcode? Scan the sleeve instead. Photograph your own copies. Own the same record twice and track each one separately. Browse your shelf as a wall of cover art. Now also in Italian, Dutch and Korean.

"You Already Own This Pressing" Scanning at the record store? Shareable Collection Stats Show off your shelf. Generate a beautiful, branded stats card and share it anywhere. VinylCrate 2.0 is our biggest update yet. The Digital Curator update brings a warm, editorial aesthetic to your collection — cream surfaces, rich typography, and album art that finally gets the spotlight it deserves. Your most recently added record greets you at the top with a parallax hero. Every screen, from search to album details to insights, has been redesigned to feel more like a gallery and less like a list. Now in your car. VinylCrate now supports CarPlay. Browse your collection by artist, genre, or crate from the dashboard and play any album straight through Apple Music — hands-free, eyes on the road. Smarter, faster Discover. AI-powered recommendations arrive in about a quarter of the time, and the suggestions are tuned to skip albums you already own or have on your wantlist. Plus countless smaller refinements: a redesigned mini-player, instant-snap alphabetical scrolling, and improved performance throughout for large collections.
